Print Smarter, Save Energy with the 3DHUB Cool Plate EcoGrip Build Plate Upgrade your 3D printing setup with the 3DHUB EcoGrip Build Plate—crafted to provide exceptional adhesion at lower heatbed temperatures. Whether printing detailed miniatures or large-scale projects, this build plate offers a reliable, energy-saving solution without compromising performance. Energy-Saving EcoGrip Technology The EcoGrip coating locks prints in place at lower temperatures, such as 45°C for PLA, allowing you to reduce heatbed power usage. This eco-friendly feature helps you lower energy bills and extend the life of your 3D printer's components. Durable and Long-Lasting Engineered to withstand hundreds of prints, the EcoGrip build plate retains its adhesive strength for over 300 uses with minimal performance loss. It’s built for makers who demand long-term reliability and cost-effective printing. Professional Matte Surface Finish The EcoGrip surface texture leaves a smooth, matte finish on the bottom of your prints, enhancing their overall appearance and hiding surface imperfections. Whether you're printing prototypes or final pieces, your projects will look polished and professional. Key Features: Surface Material: EcoGrip energy-saving adhesion coating Plate Material: Flexible spring steel for easy part removal Heat Resistance: Withstands up to 120°C heatbed temperatures Thickness: Coating (0.05mm), Steel Plate (0.4mm) Available Sizes: 256x256mm and 180x180mm Installation Instructions: Align the EcoGrip build plate with the magnetic platform’s fixed points (name/logo side facing up). Lower the plate and secure it to the surface. Note: Disable the build plate position detection via your printer’s settings for optimal performance (Controls → Print Options → Uncheck “Enable detection of build plate position”). Maintenance Tips: Clean the surface with water and mild detergent as needed. Avoid using acetone or harsh chemicals that could damage the EcoGrip coating. Avoid using TPU filament, as it may bond too strongly to the surface and cause damage. Ensure the nozzle is clean before each print to maintain optimal adhesion. Compatibility: Compatible with Bambu Lab X1, X1 Carbon, and P1P Series 3D printers. Eco-Friendly Printing for a Sustainable Future By reducing heatbed temperatures, the EcoGrip build plate not only helps you save energy but also reduces filament waste from failed prints. It’s an ideal solution for eco-conscious makers seeking better print results and lower operational costs. Warranty Information: The 3DHUB EcoGrip Build Plate is a consumable item that will naturally wear with time. We offer a warranty for any manufacturing defects (e.g., damaged plates upon arrival), but the warranty does not cover normal wear, scratches, or cracks caused by regular use.

Where to start. #1 It's not a smooth plate. #2 It leaves a glossy surface, not matte. #3 It's impossible to get all of the PLA off the build plate. It's left behind residue on the plate. I tried peeling it with my finger nail, my PETG scraper and then a metal scraper. I then heated the plate up to 50c to see if it would soften the PLA and that didn't work either. There's no way it's coming off. When this build plate cools off, the prints are supposed to come right off... But these prints were rock solid on the plate. Took me more than 30 minutes to get what I had printed off the plate and you'll see what was left behind. And my fingernail left marks on the surface of the plate - which will probably transfer to any future prints.I'll be doing a return and purchasing either BambuLabs Supertack or BICQ's Frostbite. Serves me right going with a no-name brand.
