I've had this keyboard a few years now, nothing is wearing out or malfunctioning.I should point out that I have spilled an entire mug of coffee straight into the keys and PCB inside, after 2 days of drying out it worked normally again.Would highly recommend.

What I Like - A beautiful keyboard that has a great feel to it when the keys are pressed. It looks really nice and there’s so many helpful extra controls on the keyboard itself. The RGB is customizable with downloaded software from the Corsair site. The texture, feel and weight of the keyboard is very nice. What I Don’t Like - After a bit of streaming I’ve decided it does still click a lot and make more noise than I’d like. For that reason, and the fact it does feel a little less quality than a bigger brand, I’m going to return it. For others this would be great if they’re not worried about that type of thing. If you’re strictly gaming and not recording, this is great for you.

This keyboard looks great and feels great too! It's my third Corsair keyboard and I'm very satisfied with all of them. And I was fortunate to purchase it at a great sale price. Very satisfied.

Pros:-Software's great and easy to use for macros / adjusting rgb.-You can save the per key rgb settings to the keyboard itself, and simple effects works without the iCue software running.-Build quality is good, the aluminium frame is solid and looks nice.-Volume roller and multimedia keys are super useful.Cons:-It's LOUD. In addition to the CLACK you get from bottoming out, you get a PING that rings for half a second as the key bounces back up.-Non standard bottom row. The keyboard has a different key spacing for the bottom row from other keyboards, which means the keycaps will not be compatible with standard replacement sets. In addition, any keycap sets you customize for this will not be usable on other keyboards that you might be replacing with in the future.

I had the previous version of the K70 till I spilled coffee on it, crapped out and I got an excuse to change it out. This new version is very nice, key layout is the exact same so no muscle memory re-learning for me. It doesn't have the old thick and sharp aluminum chassis it used to, has a thicker plastic body that is very sturdy. The switches are silent and buttery smooth, keyboard overall is easy to clean if you keep a small brush handy. the media buttons and volume wheel are much better looking, sturdier and more functional, and the onboard profile for RGB lighting does solve a lot of issues the software had which slowed down game launching and caused random crashes to many. The wrist support is ok I would recommend pairing it up with a thick foam wrist support (like a glorious padded keyboard wrist rest)

Pretty basic mechanical keyboard but you are paying for the quality control and materials, plus of course the RGB. Feels extremely sturdy and nice and everything is well designed. The Cherry MX Red switches are nice to me. I've had blues in the past and while those were kind of interesting, they were also obnoxious to everyone in your house/Discord chat with their constant clicking. These feel nice and are reasonably quiet, especially with some cheap o-rings from Amazon thrown on the keys as well. I would highly recommend doing that for the $10. With that modification the keys still feel nice and precise but the sound from bottoming out is reduced. The iCUE software lets you do some crazy things and isn't quite as bloaty as some other driver packages. At first I ran my mouse (Corsair Glaive) and the K70 in hardware mode using their onboard memory instead of having the iCUE app running constantly, but eventually decided to just let it run since it only used like 200MB of RAM and 0.3% of my CPU (3900X).I paid $160 CAD for this and at that price I don't feel like I got ripped off. The RGB is kinda cool but I personally just set it to blue-y white to match my other peripherals. It's a nice keyboard, but whether or not it's worth double what similarly specced Chinese knockoffs are worth is a decision you'll have to make. I think it may be, since it should last a really long time and it is definitely a little nicer than Redragon or similar.

I love the low profile nature as I hate tall keyboards. The responsiveness is amazing. If your worried about it being loud and being picked up by your mic don't worry, it's never been picked up by my mic. Colours are amazing and customizability is too although in bright lighting the colours can seem very faded. The optional key caps that come for WASD are amazing and I swapped them out straight away. Quality all around.

Okay, I AM petting my new keyboard. Seriously though, I really like this little guy (Low Profile). The Good- So quiet. I have never owns a mechanical keyboard so quiet. It's as silent as a membrane keyboard.- Low profile keys. I do a lot of typing at work, and always found the transition between my work keyboard and gaming keyboard awkward. Sooo many typos. This has the feel of a typical office keyboard with all the gaming benefits. Sooo many less typos.- Media keys (no FN key). I am not a fan of the FN key. In fact, I loath it. No FN key on this baby. Plus it has a volume wheel which is a must. I don't want to fumble for the FN key if something ear-bleedingly loud comes over my PC.- Look & Feel. Out of the box, this feels like a solid piece of equipment and it's actually quite nice looking. The pictures above don't do it justice.- RGB backlighting. I've never really cared one way or another for the backlighting, but this one is fun. My keyboard is teal! Today.- Solid keys. Without naming names *coughrazercough*, my last keyboard was such garbage it lasted only six months. The keys were wobbly and the stabilizers (metal bars under space bar, shift, backspace etc) kept popping out. I can tell the difference between the two right out of the box.- Recessed back makes it easy to clean. This keyboard will never look like the inside of a toaster.- Software is easy to use. The iCUE software is intuituve. Best part, unlike *coughrazercough* you don't need a usename and password just to adjust the settings on your own piece of equipment. The BadHonestly, nothing so far. I can usually find at least something to whinge about, but thus far my new K70 Rapidfire hasn't disappointed. I'll come back and edit if that changes. The SummaryThis is a lovely keyboard, and I highly recommend it. If you're asking yourself whether or not you should buy it, my answer is do-it-do-it-do-it! It's my first Corsair product, and I will definitely consider buying from them again.
