Just terrible. There is not much I like about this alarm system but worst of all was that it doesnt work most of the time. My best guess is that the window/door sensors came with empty batteries. Out of 10 times bringing the sensors in full contact with the magnet that is supposed to sense the door opening got me maybe one alarm on average. Replacing those batteries would be a pain as I think those are stacks of button cells in each sensor. Apart from this I didn't like the app at all. It can't even tell you what sensor went off, ie., what door or window got opened. This is really disappointing. I have no use for this thing as I wouldn't trust it a second.

Easy to set up and the siren is INCREDIBLY loud. Hoping that if there’s ever a break in at my home, this will be enough to frighten them off.

This works great! I would highly recommend you set it up in the morning to afternoon because the alarm on it is very very loud but other than that, it’s a great product

Seemed okay but when I left the house I did not revieve any alerts - ever. And was not able to trigger it via the app.

I’ve bought 2 of these alarms. They’re great. I also have the vibration alarms on the van as a first defence. But these ones act as back ups in case the thieves actually enter the van. They work fine.Alarms are the only way to protect your tools I think. Locks and cages can all be opened and broken. Cameras don’t work on covered faces. Alarms deter and alarm us to the thieves and we have at least a chance to get out and sort the problem.

I've had this for a little over a week. I needed to turn off the thermal detection because I have pets. At some point my wifi was reset and the thermal detection turned on and triggered the alarm (the phone app tells you what had triggered the alarm). I turned the setting off again and had it face a wall just in case and it triggered early the next morning setting the alarm off.The alarm can be set very loud, it was easy to install, but it's a pretty big issue that it keeps triggering like this. I'm not sure if it's a faulty sensor or an issue in the app. The sensor setting shouldn't be changing on it's own and it shouldn't even trigger while facing a wall.I live on the ground floor of an apartment and had people trying my patio door, so I felt this would help ease the anxiety. It did until this started happening as there is a concern this could disturb the other tenants.

Sort of OK but the battery life is poor only lasts about 3 months. I have changed batteries in both units twice in 6 months. I would not recommend these alarms.

The device itself is fantastic. Sturdy, very loud, sensitive - does everything I want it to.You can set it to either chime once when it detects movement, or sound the alarm. There are also two volume levels. One is medium-to-loud, the other is ear piercing loud, and would definitely startle intruders.Only issue I forsee is the remote - it's really handy, easy to use, and you can use it from quite some distance. However, there's no way to replace the battery in the remote control once it dies (unlike the device itself) - so, once the battery in the remote goes, you'd have to go without, or, order a new remote. Bit of a design flaw, hence 4 stars.

I've already got 2 of the older version of this alarm which I am still using and very pleased with. This new version has a number of improvements over the older version - which are most welcome. It takes 3 AA batteries opposed the 3 AAA in the old version - which I think means it will last quite a bit longer on a set of batteries but they've not run out yet in the 2 weeks I've been using it. I can't be sure but the alarm also seems quite a bit louder than the old version.I've also noted that you have the option to power the alarm using a USB cable - by plugging it into the sockets in the back. This gives you the flexibility to run it from mains or from a power bank for extra long run times..The fob on this version seems to be a little sturdier than the old version - which is a welcome improvement.I use the fob to disable the alarm from quite a distance - which is handy.Like the old version you get a little bracket to mount the alarm and you can use the provided screws or sticky pad to attach the bracket where you want it. The alarm can tilt and rotate in the bracket - so you can point the PIR sensor where you need it - for example, I've mounted mine around waist height so I've had to tilt the sensor back slightly to it covers a good distance in front of the alarm.Overall I would highly recommend this alarm for securing small spaces - especially sheds/caravans/motorhomes. It's simple to setup and when triggered is very loud.
