Parthenocarpic hybrid early variety.

It is recommended for cultivation in glass and film greenhouses.

The vegetation period from germination to fruiting is 45 to 50 days.
The fruit is cylindrical, slightly cuspid, dark green in color, 5-10 in long and weighing 5-10 oz with good taste.
Used for fresh consumption and cooking salads.

An easy-care vegetable that loves sun and water, cucumbers grow quickly as long as they receive consistent watering. Most varieties will grow in any amount of space, thanks to the plant’s ability to climb. Of course, these prolific veggies are perfect for pickling!

Instruction how to grow cucumbers:

Cucumber plants are seeded or transplanted outside in the ground no earlier than 2 weeks after last frost date. Cucumbers are extremely susceptible to frost damage; the soil must be at least 70ºF for germination. Do not plant outside too soon!

Before you plant outside, select a site with full sun.

Soil should be neutral or slightly alkaline with a pH of 7.0.

Cucumbers require fertile soil. Mix in compost and/or aged manure before planting to a depth of 2 inches and work into the soil 6 to 8 inches deep. Make sure that soil is moist and well-drained, not soggy.

Improve clay soil by adding organic matter. Improve dense, heavy soil by adding peat, compost, or rotted manure. Light, sandy soils are preferred for northern gardens, as they warm quickly in the spring.

Plant seedlings one inch deep and about 36 to 60 inches apart, depending on the variety. For vines trained on a trellis, space plants 1 foot apart.

For an early crop, start cucumber seeds indoors about 3 weeks before you transplant them in the ground. They like bottom heat of about 70ºF (21ºC).

A trellis is a good idea if you want the vine to climb, or if you have limited space.

Package includes: 0.16oz

Happy harvest!

VERY Disappointed! They did not produced long cucumbers and they only produce 1 maximum 2 cucumbers per plant. The cucumbers were short and often weird shape. I purchased these because the description makes it sounds like the commercial long English cucumbers similar to those by Monsanto at $1 a seed.. They are NOT, even though these seeds cost around $1 a seed. The commercial one produced nice long cucumbers at every branch. I tried these because the commercial one were hard to get, I had to really persuade a greenhouse owner to sell me a few seeds.I notice in previous reviews that good rating were given just because they arrived on time or that they germinated. I believe I am the first to actually review the end result. Oh there was one reviewer that said these cucumbers were not self-pollinating but I found that they actually were self-pollinating its just that most flowers do not produce a fruit. Only 1 cucumber per plant was supported, other flowers either never produce a fruit or if they did, it never grew until the first was picked. Often they wilt and died before the first was ready for picking. At $1 a seed they were very very disappointing.I certainly do not recommend them. In fact I felt really ripped off.

So far so good. I received 8 seeds, not 20 but they have all germinated and are growing well. Anxious to eat fresh cucumbers!!!
