Cheaper than the name brands, still way overpriced for what it is... Also realized after the fact that I could have gone to a local packaging company and bought this stuff (polyethylene foam plank) for a tiny fraction of the price (48" x 108" x 2" plank is only $18).. Additionally, this stuff is actually packaging foam where the layers are firmly bonded to each other and not really like the lightly bonded layers that tool box forms like "Shadow Foam" are made with where you can simply pull out the cutouts once the outline is cut by hand.. With this stuff, the layers are so well bonded that you either tear out chunks, leaving a horrible looking result, or you need a L-shaped heated foam cutter to remove the cutouts.

I bought these to get rid of my pluck and pull foam from all my cases. Easy to cut with a utility knife but strong enough to keep it's form when tightly fitted in my cases. Will buy more in the future.

I’ve tried a few different foams, didn’t have high hopes. This foam hands down is the best I’ve worked with. Easy to cut and more importantly, easy to get the layers off. Cutting shapes is not too difficult with most foams. Getting it down to the level you need is always challenging, especially to make it looked decent. This foam was both easy to shape and layer down. Shoutout to the engineers & designers of this product. You guys nailed it!

It cut very nice but the layers didn’t separate easy . It was very hard to get an even separation of the layers if needed to have a certain depth in your cut out. If you were cutting right through to the bottom of the foam it was great. Looks nice but could be better especially for the price .

I'm a professional field mechanic for off-road gear. It's not often I find a product that leaves me as impressed as this foam did.I've tried the "pinch and pull" square foam blocks 100 times and never had great success. I will never go back to them. I will find this stuff every single timeThis product has layers that are lightly adhered together, so it's SUPER EASY to have varying depths and it keeps its shape VERY WELL.The black part on the outside almost seemed resistant to cutting, then the red slices like butter, and the black on the bottom is the same story. Which works PERFECTLY, the resistance to cutting keeps your cut line true, it's almost idiot-proof.Once you make the initial "mild score" into the top layer, the blade just follows it. So much so I even tried to speed up/slack off/pay less attention to see how far it would go to keep me in line... NOT A SINGLE deviation from the initial cut line..Once your down to where you want, grab a slot head and pry it up. Use your slot head to scrape the surface if there's the odd piece of ripped layer left behind.
