This is a really nice sketch paper. It is a medium paper so it’s good for really any type of art. The paper is a nice weight so it’s not crazy stiff but is thicker so can be smudged and such without it wearing through. It may not be good for wet medium I have yet to test this at this point.I have gone a few sketches I. This paper. It’s not to grainy do the pencil goes on nicely. I am able to shade and the pencil easily graded to represent the darks and lights. I did really like how easily I could erase in this paper. The removal of the pencil was really good. Some papers are not easily erased to this is good when drawing faces with charcoal to get depth.I do really like that they put the rings at the top so I can flip pages up. I hate books with the rings in the side as it hinders your hand near the ring edge. This one I have no issues with that. The paper also has perforations so the page can easily be removed. I really wish all books had this and it is getting more common but still not mainstream. The perforations allow for a clean straight edge without having to cut the tip out off. The perforations prevent that.This is a great sketch pad, I really like it and would get again.

This is an excellent quality sketch pad. In my opinion, the price is right for 100 pages to draw and sketch on. Currently, it is CAD $13.99. The price is especially impressive for the size, which is 9"x12".The paper is thicker than standard drawing paper and is off-white in colour. I am a graphic designer and I start creating digital illustrations by first drawing simple pencil and pencil crayon sketches onto paper like what's in this pad. Then I transfer the images onto my computer by scanning them. This paper supports my workflow, because I get a lot of illustrations done at an affordable price.The paper in this pad isn't really meant for dark ink pens that could bleed through the pages. The paper will support children's colouring markers, but not professional quality black pens and inks. All things considered, I think this sketch pad is ideal for pencils and pencil crayons, and it gets 5 stars from me. I'll order it again when I need more.

This is a nice large sketchbook. It is thick with 100 100gsm sheets, but the sheets themselves do not feel as thick as I expected. The sheets are textured and perforated at the top. The back is cover is cardboard. I mainly use dry media such as gel pens, colored pencils, pencils, and charcoal in this sketchbook. They work fine with the paper. I've also tried sharpies and paint pens but note that they do bleed through the page.

This is a really good sketch pad for anyone who loves to draw. The paper has a good weight to it, and the pads are always neatly bound, and the spiral binding makes it easy to create all kinds of art in it. I certainly draw in it constantly!

This sketch pad comes sealed to protect the paper, has 100 sheets in the pad and is a nice big size of 9 in x 12 in. The paper is medium weight, 68 lb (although it says heavyweight), 100 gsm, and it has a nice faint texture to every page, so that it's not completely smooth which makes it nicer to draw on but not rough enough to catch your lead.This sketchbook is spiral round which makes it easy to lay flat or to flip through the pages, and you can tear off each sheet neatly through the perforated edge near the spiral.The paper is a soft white and feels good to draw on and I love that it is acid-free which means that your artwork should last longer. I also really like the size which is big enough to draw what you need.The backing is really solid and firm which is important when you are drawing so that you have a steady surface, especially if you're not using a table top or easel.This paper is good for working with pencil, colored pencil, fine line markers, charcoal, oil pastel, and other dry mediums.This is a good quality sketchbook that lays flat, has a nice texture, and it's a good medium weight in soft white paper. It comes with 100 sheets which is a lot to work with. I will be using it a lot.

Estaba buscando un sketchbook para mixed media (medios mixtos creo que se dice en español), aunque principalmente para bocetos con grafito, pastel y a veces lápices acuarelables y acuarelas. No me entusiasman los que son con un lado encolado, el espiral me resulta mucho más cómodo, así que cuando ví este y tuve la oportunidad de probarlo no lo dudé.Al llegar sorprende lo sólido que se ve y lo grueso que es, para dibujar muuucho. las hojas, algo más amplias que un A4 son muy generosas sin ser excesivas para poder transportarlo cuando sales de casa también-aunque en mi caso principalmente es para tener en casa. Las hojas si bien no son demasiado gruesas, son lo suficientemente gruesas para trabajos con materiales secos tal como indican en la descripción. Con 100g, aunque se puede (aunque con cuidado) no resiste bien pinturas húmedas tipo acuarelas que es lo que más he probado, ya que tiende a bombearse el papel y puede incluso romper si se abusa del agua (o rotuladores acrílicos o con mucho alcohol ya que traspasan). Dicho esto, aunque no es lo ideal por varias razones más allá del grosor, como el sellado con gelatina, lo tolera mejor de lo que se podría esperar para un papel de bocetos con este gramage. Sin embargo, para lo que está diseñado, que es carboncillo, grafito y lápices de colores es ideal. El papel resulta agradable, tiene una rugosidad gustosa, nada que afecte negativamente al dibujo, como pasa con algunos demasiado texturizados y el color a mi también personalmente me gusta, ya que lo noto un tono más natural que un blanco blanqueado, de esos blanco polar.Las anillas en espiral son muy prácticas, ya que son anillas dobles pero individuales, no en espiral a lo largo del borde y el microperforado para poder quitar bien las hojas me resulta super práctico y limpio.En general yo estoy encantada con él, por el precio que tiene (a día de hoy 10€ aunque tiene un descuento promocional en estos momentos) me parece un acierto para disfrutar creando sin culpa de "gastar" y con un papel que responda bien a diferentes medios. El papel en concreto me resulta muy agradable por la textura y color y me parece que invita a crear en él. Y el tamaño, a pesar de ser relativamente grande, también me gusta para llevarlo y tener espacio. Finalmente el espiral a mi me encanta y me parece comodísimo y con el microperforado más practico aún si se quieren retirar hojas de manera limpia y rápida. No creo que defraude como sketchbook incluso a más que aficionados como yo.

I absolutely love the colour, texture and weight of this paper. For sketches I actually prefer lighter weight paper and with a nice tooth that this has. It also isn’t the brightest white which in my opinion looks nicer with pencil and is easy on the eyes. Great quality especially for the price. Beats higher priced pads by miles. Bought another immediately after using this one. If you love pencil sketching just get this pad.

There are 100 sheets of thick quality drawing paper in this spiral sketch pad. Theyre acid-free and 9 x 12" in size. The quality is slightly better than what you would find at a dollar store.The art paper comes wrapped in plastic, so your art pages are protected through shipping. I would definitely order this art paper again!
