I'd been debating about getting this for a long time. I finally did and it was so worth it! My kids absolutely love it! It is challenging and fun! It is also very mobile! Which is really fun, I took it to their cousins house when they went and they all enjoyed it very much! My kids ages are 5, 9, and 11 and each one enjoys it the same amount and are capable of getting to the lights when they light up. They each have a different setting that they like and a different game. The settings are easy to figure out and maneuver. The games are extremely challenging even for adults. The music that goes with the light up dancing part did get a little irritating at times, however! (and this is my favorite part) you can hook up your own music!!!!!! So I can set up a playlist of my kids favorite songs and they can do the dance part or the memory game to their own music!!! It does not go to the beat of the music you put in, but it is still fun as my kids often turned the volume down anyway when doing the dance part because the didn't like the built in music. I think the only thing that could be better is if it had a sensitivity that allowed it to light up to the beat of the music you put in.It is very easy to fold up again and again and even my 5 year old can fold it up and put it back in it's box.Overall I'm SOOOOOOO glad I got this, my kids love it, it's challenging, portable, and an incredible work out! HA HA HA

There is nothing wrong with the product. If your child will get a lot of use out of a toy like this, get this. It works fine. My kids just didn't use it after we gave it to them. They all tried it and had fun. After a few days, it just sat there. It is now away and no one uses it. Not the product's fault. Just not what my kids like I guess. If your kid really likes this sort of toy, this one works well. But it did nothing to make either of my 4 children interested in keeping it out of toy storage.

Hey there! Just wanted to share my thoughts on the electronic dance mat. It's seriously awesome! My kids absolutely love it, and honestly, so do I. It's been a blast dancing and grooving together. Plus, it's a great way to get some exercise indoors, especially when the weather's not so great outside. But the cord comes out alot and to use battery's would cost so much now because of the price of battery's and how fast they die with this mat. Id say use the power cord but have enough slack in the cord that it doesnt constantly get pulled out of the wall from danceing and the mat sliding on carpet. Other then that it's definitely worth the buy!

My 6 and 8 year old kids are really enjoying this. I thought the 8 year old would be almost too old for it, but there is a higher level that she is truggling with, which is good.It comes with a power cord so you don't have to use batteries, but batteries are an option. It has volume control and some sound options all controlled on the pad with the feet also. There is a drum option, but all they really did with that was make drum noises. They were more interested in the free play challenges. There are 8 levels that we know of on there. Maybe there's more but she cannot get past that one. One song is "I Love Rock and Roll" which they play a lot.The pads light up nicely for where they are supposed to jump on and ifyou get too many wrong it fails you and you have to start over.It does have a crinkling sound to it when the kids are jumping on it which I think is a bit distracting to everyone. The speaker sound is adequate for this price range of item. It's not crisp, but it works. It comes with a aux cord so a phone can be hooked up to it, but we haven't used that yet as there were not instructions included so we are going to experiment with that later to try and figure it out.It is foldable and easy to store. In my opinion, 3 year olds will struggle with it and 12 year olds may get bored with it quickly, but for some random fun, it does the job. I'm an adult and messed with it some too and it was fun to toy with for a bit until my 6 year old kicked me off for her turn. The price point is at a good spot for this item.
