First: I was using this mat to play Stepmania.The mat worked decently well the first time I used it. However, the second time the down arrow button would not work properly and would be unable to function/stutter if I had another foot pressed down on a different arrow. (Ex. Right foot on right arrow and left foot on down arrow).It was incredibly frustrating and I couldn't play properly. I contacted customer service and sent them a video of the issue (Which seemed like a defect). Their response was this "This product can only dance with arrows, does not respond to footsteps, and cannot interact." - Then why is it call a 'STEP Dance pad'?The person I talked to was at least nice the whole time.There could've been a language barrier but the video said it all. Don't get it. It's a waste of money.This mat is also smaller than the Konami ones, but only slightly.I decided to get an L-tek instead, they are expensive but worth it.

The item was defective. The seller refused to send replacement, asked for personal information, then proceeded to offer a 10% refund. Really unimpressed. Item has been mailed back at my expense and I still haven't been refunded.

I didn't see many reviews for this and took a chance buying it only to be very satisfied!I grew up playing DDR with the official soft pads and this is the closest thing out there!Now keep in mind, this is for the PC only. You will need to download STEPMANIA as well as Song packs for the game to work(When you're in the game you will have to go into controller settings to set up your pad)All the buttons on the pad seemed to work just fine. Connectivity was good too. My only qualm is that the sizing of the mat is a touch skewed off from what Im used to but its not a bad thing.If youre looking to play DDR in 2021 buy cant find anything definitely buy this. Dance mats are hard to come by now adays!!!

The software was created in 2008. It installs but I don't think it works properly in windows 10. No sound, weird words which seems to be Japanese.
