You see these online all the time. This didn’t work properly at all like in this videos. It’s cute and fun (when it works), but the sound quality just isn’t there. Half the time that my baby babbled, it wouldn’t recognize that he was making sound. It would pick up the sound of me moving the toy more frequently than baby’s voice. It also broke off at the base very easily.

I was really not expecting this singing (some full, some partial music) while dancing and mimicking baby toy to be so adorably cute, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. This little guy can mimic a good amount of words at once in a very cute voice, which suits the character very well. All the features worked in my experience and it has been so much fun watching it dance as it plays a tune and mimics the lyrics. There are so many great songs to choose from by pressing the music button. (Each press of the song button while a song is playing will trigger it to move to the next song.)This is a really great toy that can be a fun way to teach infants speech and have a great time doing it. It reminded me of when I bought one of the first tickle me Elmo dolls for my infant daughter on her first Christmas. So cute!

The dancing cactus has been very popular. We have the original version so when I came across this fun-themed version I wanted to give it a go and see what it was like. Not only does it add to the fun of the cactus but there are a few different songs that are loaded onto the music side we don't have on the original. It is rechargeable which is nice as no batteries are required. You can also do a recording to have it speak to your little one. It also mimicks well and responses quite quickly.

The left button can be held for 14 seconds to record a message, then short-press for playback. I find this one has the microphone more muted than others, so you have to be close to the mic to record. The right button plays 120 songs in the same order each time. This is annoying if you want to play a certain song. There is no way to select a song to play, and many are not recognizable. There is no volume control on this model.After the song or playback is finished, the cactus toy goes into repeat mode, where it repeats whatever is said nearby, in a higher voice. This makes it a lot of fun!This is a toy that makes people laugh, and a fun gift for someone having a birthday or special occasion because you can program a message for your loved one, children or adults.

It worked for 5 minutes and everyone loved it but then after it just stopped working. I thought the batteries might be the issue but even after changing them the product did not seem to work.Overall, the product looks very cute in the room, hope it worked well too.

The playback sound is awful. No matter how slow or how clear you try to speak, the sound played back is not clear at all. The speakers literally sound as if they are faulty and of poor quality. Would not recommend it at all.
