This item is listed as metal, it is not, it is plastic and is plastic coated chrome (not metal). I bought two thinking they were metal.

I had to replace the original metal handle because I had to cut it off in order to service the diverter portion of the valve. The metal handles tend to "weld" themselves onto the shaft over time and mine wouldn't come off even after soaking with various solutions and using the handle puller. I finally had to cut it off using a Dremel and an oscillating saw. I installed this one with some silicone grease which will hopefully make it easier to remove in the future.
