Cheap and effective. I had my doubts to buy this because there is not a lot of information on how to use it, but to be honest, As soon as I installed it, you dont even care is a 10 dollars piece.

I can;t speak for this knob, but similar knobs seem to only last 6 months before breaking. Possibly an over-all flaw of the design. At lest this fixed the knob in the shower for now.If I need to order a new one I'll let you know the durability.

Please note that the screw that was shipped with the Danco handle is to short, (needed 1 inch length) would not thread into valve to hold the handle on. I put it together with the screw that was shipped with it. The first turn the handle it came loose and you could pull it apart from the valve. i had to go to hardware store and get a long screw (1 inch long) put that on.Also the handle should be bigger because your hand will slip off.

Okay. It's a shower handle...nothing earth shattering. Anything plumbing is foreign to me, so when my handle started cracking right around the base where it fastens to the cartridge stem, I took it off and took it to the hardware store, figuring I'd just pick up a replacement. An employee, no doubt noticing the dumb look, stopped to help me. At the time I had no idea what she was saying, but apparently it wasn't going to be that easy. Found this one on Amazon and it fit perfectly.
