I purchased the hands sculpture bookend set for my daughter’s room, and while it has its limitations, it still adds a stylish touch.The first thing to note is that these bookends are not heavy enough to effectively hold up heavy books. Despite this drawback, I've found them to be quite useful as a decorative accent, particularly for smaller or lighter books.

These are way cooler than I was expecting. I use them to prop up important papers where I can see them and avoid burying them. Great organizational tool. They remind me of all the different scifi/fantasy works that use body parts as design elements (giant enemy hands, giant architectural hands, etc). I'd kind of expected them to seem a little tackier, but they're just neutral, androgynous golden hands. I'm gonna buy another pair of them!

Comes with a label that it contains a chemical that is know to “cause cancer and birth defects” ??? It would be important to know from the start. Arrived BROKEN AND VERY CHEAP

These do not have anywhere near the weight to function as real bookends. For the price very disappointing.

Ordered them based solely off their looks. After purchasing, I saw all the comments talking about the horrible quality, how they were too light to hold more than 3 books, etc., and I instantly regretted my purchase. When they arrived, I was fully expecting to ship them back. But now that I have them, I love them! They're holding together about 10 normal sized books, are hefty, and the paint job is great. They were also very well packaged. I don't think anyone before me wasn't being truthful. I think the manufacturer saw the feedback and made the product better.
