Make sure when using this lamp, try to plug directly into a 120V outlet or use a good extension cord ie: 10 gauge or better to prevent overheating.

purchased this in a hurry because it got cold suddenly and I had a batch of parts I was painting, it arrived in a timely manner, but it really wasn't what I was expecting, the item arrived safely, I noticed another reviewer saying they had a hard time getting an unbroken one, so I felt glad when I opened mine and it was in one piece, zero instructions came with with the lamp, but it wasn't hard to figure it out, the collars that are supposed to tighten the telescoping bars in place never seem to get a solid grip, so the bars don't really "lock" in place, same with the tripod legs, theres a knob you twist to clamp them in place once you have them in the position you want, it never gets a trustworthy grip, i felt it could collapse at any moment, the light itself works, it has a twist knob with timer,, so it will never stay on for longer than the timer will allow, its just too small to make any difference, if you're painting a small fender or door mirror, then this might do the trick, the main reason Im returning this is because after I built it, I, of course, wanted to test it out, I plugged it in, set it to 20 minutes, and came inside, I went back out in 10 minutes and the lamp was off, it had tripped my circuit breaker, keep in mind I run a 60 gallon compressor, several pumps and large fans back there, (none of which was on at the time) and none of that equipment has tripped the circuit breaker in the shop, so yea, this is a cheaply made lamp, amazon is becoming more like wish app with all the junk they sell here. this lamp is worth $25 at the most, if you really need one of these lamps, I suggest looking elsewhereoh yea, on the back of the lamp head, there is the timer knob, it pops up about an inch, that timer knob is right next to the mounting holes, so when you go to put the bracket on, you can't fit the supplied allen key in the space between the knob and bracket, smh

light came broken twice by amazon. after getting tired of returning, it and this would be the third time and amazon wouldn't let me anymore I talked to the company, and they send out two bulbs shipped quick inside a pvc sleeve which was great. the bulbs got here perfect. now the fun partyou have to completely disassemble the light fixture to replace the light bulbs. I would suggest not to do it if you have no clue what you're doing. Its straightforward but all the pieces fit like a jigsaw puzzle. everything falls apart when you disassemble it to replace the bulbs. I was on a tight schedule thats why i decided to do this instead of risking getting another broken shipment.1 star lower because of how difficult it is to replace the bulb. I will come back and report on longetivity

Ordered 3. Only received 1. Out of the 2 bulbs; 1 bulb was broke & the other bulb was missing still waiting on the other 2 lamps.
