After unboxing, the item was in excellent condition, unlike other reviews. Like the hydraulic lid supports and dual latches. Had to adjust the tightness of the lid to seal better to my preference. It is fairly thin material, but should be fine for my application.

This particular model can sit flush against the bed wall , and still open the lid. Plastic tray leaves to be desired, but box itself appears waterproof and looks good.

Overall, its a great box. I installed this in my 2003 F250. The textured black looks really good with a bed liner. Fits under my tri fold hard tonneau cover with a couple of inches to spare. It's light enough that you can remove it with stuff still inside. The shipping box had reinforced edges on the long sides, so it arrived in perfect condition. Seems pretty sturdy, but it is just thin sheet aluminum, so only time will tell.
