Very important advice!!1. Make sure you install cutoff valves to hot and cold lines prior to install.2. I was able to install everything (DIY engineer not a plumber) without a leak. HOWEVER After install we turned water on and both handle sides allowed water through in the closed position.I was able to use the shut off valves to investigate one handle at a time (removed the handle by loosening separately sold set screw and handle) then used the handle to rotate the valve 90 degrees until I was able to find the off point. Then I kept rotating until the off point was in the outside location where it was supposed to be.To my relief this fixed the problem!! I thought I was going to have to get on the phone with Delta and rip everything out and start over.Apparently the set point for the handles isn't always as *locked in* as Delta paperwork makes it sound.Good luck!

Product delivered was in great condition with all parts included, this is unusual in these days… these days you gotta check everything, or you get screwed, you gotta check every part to see if it’s there or marred, dented or some other reason.. Delta represent a quality part as advertised, and it survived the vender/shiper…We’ll see if it works.

I am a contractor. I ordered the unit and started to install it. I found several steps of the instructions that were either wrong or difficult to understand. And I am a licensed contractor. I had to call Delta 3 times and was on the phone for 1.5 hours in total. They were even confused.1- The center spout comes with a brass plug for testing at the factory. I did not know it was a test plug so I called Delta. I was having trouble fitting the spout on the center piece. The girl was very helpful. She said, "Oh everybody calls about this. The instructions do not tell you to remove that. Just throw it out."Well it would save everyone time if they said that in the instructions, especially if "Everyone calls about that."2-The flexible hose used for the sprayer came with an o-ring only on one side. I figured there should be one on both sides so I called them. The man at Delta said, "No there should only be one o-ring." I questioned him on this. I said "How does that side seal the water that is under 60psi? He looked further and said, "Oh your right, it does require an o-ring." Boy am I glad I asked. This saved me a BIG headache down the road if it leaked and caused ceiling damage on the customers house.3- The directions tell you to "Hook up the feed hose the the valves" but it does not tell which pipe to connect the hose too. The curved one or the straight one. Once again I had to call Delta for a THIRD TIME. Well this was a tricky one for them. Finally after putting me on hold for 15 minutes the man came back and told me which line to place it too.I was surprised that Delta did not have better instructions. They are almost too complicated as to where they do not tell you the basic things.I purchased the valve for PEX .I must say Delta customer service was great, it is just the engineers or whoever wrote the directions need some schooling.I have included pictures for the next guy. Hopefully this will save someone a couple hours on the phone.

Had to purchase in 2 buying cycles because ad did not advise that it was in 2 separate boxes . Finally got all the parts after over a month , modified tub and now the finish SPOUT does not FIT the rough in !!!! Roughin does not fit in the spout assembly. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM !!!!! Terrible quality control !!! Also very poor construction !!! One star is the lowest that I could put on it. Checked parts with a digital scale parts do not fit, pull up for the hand shower has only 3- 6/32 threads and will be broken after only a few pulls. The rod does not reach the pull mechanism any way. My score is 5 Terribles !!! This is one of the worst engineered products that I have ever purchased!
