The tub spout is entirely plastic. Other parts are either plastic or very thin gauge metal.

This faucet looks and works great. It's been installed for a few months now and I have no complaints whatsoever.

We installed this 1.5 yr ago. The water control and temperature control valves work great. Only the smaller top lever is made of plastic. I would give this part 5 stars. We have hard water and have to clean with Limeaway regularly.Tub spout is plastic, but the finish has held up just fine.Problem: the inner workings of the tub spout are also plastic. This housing cracked which caused water to forcefully spray back into the wall causing drywall damage and damage to the ceiling below. The crack is linear and runs parallel to the direction of flow. It was installed by an experience plumber, so we don't think that it was damaged in the installation process. Delta will send a replacement part, but it is the same as the part that failed, so we're a bit concerned that this could happen again.
