Always go with OEM if budget allows. Fits like OEM. Replaced original alternator on 2006 IS 250 with almost 200k miles. Loved TOYOTA quality!

Alternator came in great condition, looked practically new. I installed it on a 2010 Lexus IS250. I found that zip tying upper wiring harness(at oil filler cap) and lower wire harness(Near coolant bottle) out of the way and removing electric radiator fans along with upper coolant hose and top end of lower coolant hose gave me the room needed. It was fairly easy until you get to that rear nut on the alternator bracket, I used a short extension and put a ratchet swivel adapter on the end next to the ratchet. This made it easier to get the head of the ratchet onto the socket with extension due to the limited room. Watch the Youtube videos and one should help with additional hints. Also replace your serpentine belt since your at it. I purchased a Gates brand from Oreilly's.

This is a Denso OEM alternator for 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD. Remanufacture quality is excellent with a label indicating "remanufactured in USA". It actually looks brand new. On the other hand, it is no fault of the product but installation is a whole different story, particularly the rear bracket bolt. It's a PITA! For the less experienced DIY I suggest do a bit of research or even watch some videos in how to replace 2006 GS300 AWD alternator before attempting to do so.

Alternator looks brand new despite being remanufactured, came in original Denso packaging. Best to buy the OEM Denso alternator instead of a cheaper no-name one for less.Works great right after install on 2008 IS250 AWD, will update review if it goes bad.Was able to install it myself following Youtube videos, all you need are 10, 12, 14 mm sockets, helps to have 3" and 6" socket extensions, a breaker bar to loosen tight bolts, flathead screwdriver, pliers, and deep sockets can be helpful too. Telescoping mirror and telescoping magnet from Dollarama can be useful to see the hidden bracket bolt and pick up any bolts you drop inside the engine bay.A lot of videos seem to get the old one out without taking off much else but I tried for hours and ended up needing to take out the black ECU housing box to the right of the alternator which some videos show. This gives you much more space to work and made getting the old one out and new one in much easier. Be careful not to damage the ECU or wiring.

I purchased a alternator for my 08 Gs350 AWD about 2 yrs ago from CarquAdvAut. Car drove sluggish, lacked power, airbag codes, awd codes, after about a year in constant flashing battery charging light coming and going. Battery never put out more than 13.5v. Now 14.3v and all codes are gone by themselves no reset needed and car drives like new. Denso is oem for Lexus and it shows…
