This fixed it. 22 screws to remove rear bumper cover and it pops off. Took 1-1/2 hours not knowing how to start. Saved $$$.

This I help to install in my friends Ford Taurus which was a pretty easy thing to do and also it is always double check if this fits your vehicle and you don't have any other issues as I really don't have much more to say it this work great for me .

These ultrasonic distance sensors are easy to activate, read from the signal output, and calibrate using ESP-32 microcontroller development kit. These sensors are extreme weather resistant and will be used on a farm gate access control system to watch for obstacles when the gate opens and closes.

It does not sit as flush as the OEM but after ordering an OEM and it not working I tried these and it worked. Now I have three spares as well for less than one OEM.
