They do last longer than some rando no-name brand. And they're therefore safer. I used these with my 12v Durofix cutter and they last many times longer than the no-name garbo that I had on there before. Obviously, the sparks are still a bit of a hazard, but I'm not as worried about these coming apart and slicing me up. On sale, and on sale further in bulk, I got 6 of them for about $3 each, and I don't feel nearly as bad paying that as I would for something like sandpaper.

I have done a review on the cut off tool as well.These work well and are durable.I have used them on heavy gage wire, chicken wire, tin nails and many other things. Cuts with ease.I do wait to see them go on sale before buying.
