Yes, that's right. There's a big CHINA word on the bit. But, what isn't made in China nowadays? With Dewalt's name backing up this product, it can't be that bad. It has some weight to it and feels like it can take some abuse. Some of the cheaper bits I tried are light weight and strip the bit pretty easy. These definitely feel stronger. I have used these before and they are good. They still strip after a long while.

Simple concept, well made and suits a nice purpose. Every now and then a slotted head screw comes my way and I never had a good way to back them out other than a hand held screw driver. These are a good option for a drill but the slotted head is kind of thick, this size #8-10 is too thick to remove slotted screws in light switch covers.
