Great quality as expected from Dewalt. I didnt realise in the pictures but the too half unclips and the bottom can be without a lid. Handle seems sturdy. I like the size. Loads of compartments on the top section. This is clearly going to last for many years!

Rugged performance. Large enough to carry a cordless drill, spare batteries & associated accessories. For more complex requirements I rely on the DEWALT Toughsystems/TStak cases. This Tool Tote (DWST24070) fits nicely under the shelving units & the work bench.

I bought this for my sister's husband and immediately realized I can’t let my own husband see it! This toolbox is amazing! Just as described—spacious, with plenty of compartments and slots. Made of durable plastic, and the best part: the latches are metal.

This is an amazing toolbox.There are two main components, which can be separated and carried individually. This is important, because the toolbox is quite large and if you've got it full of stuff, it will be heavy - the ability to separate the two main compartments is important.There are lots of great little compartments, especially in the top piece. Great for small tools, miscellaneous hardware parts, etc.The entire product is made of plastic, apart from parts of the handle and some of the clasps. Seems sturdy enough

TL;DR It's a durable, spacious, convenient mid sized tool tote and great for the price. No complaints.I work in new construction as a plumber. I was tired of digging through my Husky tool backpack setup. I would have to unzip, dig through the bottom just to find my tape measure or bits or what have you.I looked around quite a bit for an open-faced style tray like this, but couldn't find anything suitable. My other challenge was getting it to fit inside my locking storage bin on the work truck so I could leave my things locked up at night instead of having to lug my tools home every night.This tote is durable, spacious and seems to be high quality. The bottom tote portion fits all my hand tools (quite a bit like hammer, levels, two tapes, 3 crimp tools, a battery charger, square and room for a good bit more).The top case portion holds my impact with a battery on it, a 5 amp battery, a Dewalt bit set case, and a single bay battery charger perfectly. The fact that it snaps to the top and disconnects with one hand makes it super convenient and a breeze to use.The handle is a little on the large side, but is very sturdy and sort of slides into a locked position while carrying it so you don't have to work about the tote spilling or tipping.If you're on the fence about this thing, I say just give it a try. I love it. Especially if you're in a trade where you have many tools to bring in and out of a job site everyday. So convenient and nice. Another plus is all my tools are Dewalt so it matches 😎.

Just got mine, love it. Good quality for the best price I found. Very hard to beat. Its made from plastic, like 90% of all tool boxes. BUT, its strong where it counts: hinges, clamp locks, handle.Recommend whole heartily. Although😭it would be a perfect box if the upper part would be swivel connected to the lower part with the option to take it off completely (right now one can only take it off completely, no swivel).

As a cabinet installer I wanted a nice hardcase for my power tools, soft bags suck, and I don't like the trolleys. This tote is perfect for me. The top case (which I grab more often) holds my drill, driver, batteries and all the bits and blades. And the tote itself has my jigsaw, multitool, charger, extra batteries, more blades and accessories and it can still hold more tools or other things. Best part is the whole case itself is pretty light so load up as much as you can carry.
