I’m not sure how these are anything close to a one inch roller ball bearing. They look more like 5/8” size. I returned them for a refund. Ordered one inch roller ball bearing from Harbor Freight which were actually one inch balls and I used it as a means to raise off the floor my Quick Jack and roll them when they are being positioned under under a vehicle

I put 8 of these on my rebuilt 5x5 Kallax. The shelves hold a lot of books and records, but I needed it to have the ability to move for dusting/cleaning and when rearranging the studio. Now... don't think you're going to do this also with a Kallax, by just adding these balls and a slight push would destroy the shelves. I reinforced the backing with an extra board and every corner with metal. Yes, much sturdier, it can take the weight and a push, but if i needed I'm sure I can still destroy them with a few improvised ninja kicks.
