Its absolutely gorgeous and lives up to the pictures shown, upon arriving and out of the box the covers of one of the joycons was pretty wonky (top opening where the top bottuns were was folded slightly up) and i was hoping it would flatten out over time but it hasnt, not a huge deal or a deal breaker but just something to be aware of, overall I really like it though

Most likely because I just bought my system in 2023. So the hard case isn’t snapping on. But I love it it’s so pretty.

I love this pretty little set! The joycon grips are silicone and slide on easily, and are crystal-clear!The hard back piece for the Switch console, however, is another story. It has glue residue on it that I can’t seem to remove without some scrubbing, which will damage / remove the flower decal. It’s not as noticeable when attached to the switch, but still noticeable, hence the 4-star rating.The back piece has clips that attach it to the console - you just have to press gently and firmly, and they will click into place. The console can also be docked with the case on; it just has to be docked and undocked VERY CAREFULLY.Would definitely recommend and may buy a clear version for the Monster Hunter Switch (not OLED) console we have, as well.

The clear plastic for the Switch body has visible scratches and smudges already on it out of the package. It's not end of the world as taking suches blows instead of the console is the purpose of the thing, but not having it in pristine condition out of the box disappoints nonetheless. It's not what is to be expected for a new product, isn'it ? Is it the norm here to have wears out of the box ? I'm puzzled wether I got a defect or if it's just what it is by default. All in all, It sure doesn't feel new.However, this doesn't apply to the joycons' parts as those are perfectly fine, feeling as new as expected.At the end of the day, it leaves me on the fence of customer satisfaction, this incarnated in this middling review.
