C’est une routine annuelle, avec ma vieille maison et ses matériaux de bois, je dois combattre les fourmis qui parviennent à se créer un chemin jusqu’à l’intérieur. J’ai testé de nombreuses méthodes et produits, et la méthode la plus efficace que j’ai trouvée jusqu’ici est de pulvériser une bande d’insecticide liquide sur le pourtour extérieur de la maison, ainsi qu’à certains endroits localisés à l’intérieur où des fourmis ont été observées.Cet insecticide surpasse ceux que j’ai essayé par le passé. Il a d’une part une concentration plus élevée de son ingrédient actif reconnu, ce qui lui permet de demeurer efficace plusieurs semaines, voire des mois après l’application. D’autre part son pulvérisateur réglable me permet d’ajuster précisément le jet souhaité. J’ai par le passé pesté contre des pulvérisateurs qui arrosaient de manière imprécise ou trop faiblement. Avec celui-ci, je peux soit pulvériser une bruine pour former une bande de quelques pouces de largeur pour couvrir une plinthe de plancher, ou avoir un jet unique puissant qui me permet de viser précisément et en profondeur de petits trous où les insectes peuvent se cacher. Tout ça sans faire de dégâts.Ce produit est par ailleurs parfumé d’huiles essentielles de cèdre, une odeur bien plus agréable que les insecticides habituels.Son prix est toutefois passablement plus élevé que d’autres produits concurrents. Mais si vous avez testé plusieurs autres solutions sans succès, peut-être que cet investissement sera pertinent.

I am allergic to ants, so I was devastated when, Late one night, we found hundreds of tiny ants in our basement washroom and along the baseboards in our living room. When we moved in, we had been warned that ants might show up as they seem to plague our small town. We had already armed ourselves with Doktor Doom spray to make sure if they showed up we would be prepared. My son sprayed the baseboards very well in both rooms and the ants died on contact with the spray. It is now 2 weeks later since spraying and we have not seen any more ants at all. I am buying another bottle to have on hand and will be spraying every few weeks just to ensure the ant problems stay at bay. I am, so relieved that we had Doktor Doom on hand when it was needed and will make sure we always have it on hand.

I recently ordered the Doktor Doom Pro Max Ant Killer Plus, and it has been effective in getting rid of ants in and around my home. We had a persistent ant problem, especially during the warmer months, and nothing else seemed to work as effectively as this product.What impressed me right away was how easy it was to use. Concentration of the active ingredient is slightly stronger 0.35% versus 0.25% of the commonly store stocked Wilson Ant Out and Ortho Ant B Gon. So it is possible you might use less to do the same amount of work. Reality is it's negligible. However at the time of review, it's listed at 3x the cost of the alternatives I listed which is frankly bananas. So regrettably, I wouldn't recommend mainly due to value.
