This keyboard is really good. Nothing digital is every perfect but I have been teaching piano with this one and my students like it. I've even recommended it for purchase for another student as they need a new one. Not giving it a perfect score because the pedal is not quite as responsive as I'd like but I love the design and it sounds good.

This is exactly what I wanted. Weighted keys. It has a great sound. Its just piano and nothing more. I was not sure I was going to like the design as it seems to be mid century style but I do. Just could not get the pedal board to connect to the legs. It has the connections at the back which some people might not like but it keeps the front clean.

I have been wanting a piano for a while, but had limited space and funds. This lovely little piano takes up only the the room it needs, without sacrificing that full keyboard feel. It is as close to an acoustic sound and responsiveness as I have found in a digital piano. For me, a recreational player, I love that it is relatively light weight (especially compared to an acoustic!) and that I can move it myself, enjoying playing and not worry about it going out of tune. The appearance is lovely, and fits in well with the room and furniture. It was easy to put together myself. I love that it doesn't have all the 'bells and whistles' of other digital pianos, because I really just wanted a Piano and that is what this is-A Piano. It just happens to be electric instead of acoustic. Perfect for my needs!I am delighted with the piano-Even more so with the Customer Service at Donnor. The piano I received, unfortunately came with a faulty pedal ( The middle pedal didnt work, the other two did) I immediately contacted Donnor Customer service through the link provided by Amazon -but you can also contact them directly from their website as well. ( I did NOT turn to Amazon returns-they are growing ever more frustrating to deal with). A representative at Donnor answered me back within a few days. The initial response took a bit longer than I was led to believe but once I was in contact they were great! I explained the issue and they -without hesitation or questions-, shipped me a new pedal system right away. It arrived well within the expected time and it worked right out of the box. I give the Five stars because the piano is exactly what I wanted And they stand by their product. They actually seem to care about their customers-a rarity in this world. I would recommend this piano to anyone looking for a sturdy, playable, and pretty piano.

The Donner DDP-80 is absolutely beautiful, both aesthetically and functionally. I got the light wood colour and it matches my home perfectly. I decided on the DDP-80 after researching Donner’s various options, as well as other considerations when purchasing a digital piano. I’ve only ever played on acoustic pianos and have always been hesitant to get a digital piano because I didn’t like how light the keys felt and found the sound quality to be crap. The DDP-80 has weighted keys which emulate the hammer-action feel of an acoustic piano, and only has one sound option, which has been refined through multiple audio samples of grand acoustic pianos—This was perfect for me, because I’d much prefer to have 1 quality audio vs. 10 mediocre audio samples to pick from. The piano itself is well-built (mind you, it’s not real wood but it looks close!), a nice compact size for condo-spaces, affordable (especially if there’s a discount), easy to assemble, and just really beautiful to look at.

Awesome keyboard with an amazing piano sample that makes anything you play sound full and rich, the speakers are ideal, with crisp high notes and deep bass. The weighted keys feel very realistic and definitely help to keep your fingering skills strong for when you play a real piano, very sleek and professional look. To top it off this unit is easy to assemble and adjust to your needs. overall 9.5 out of 10. The only slight downside I've noticed so far is the piano keys can get pretty noisy when playing very hard, but I've played uprights that where much worse in comparison, and overall the key action is very good. Very good value for your dollar, and I think Donner will be a major player in the Keyboard world if they keep this up!

Best part is it really sounds like a piano and it's beautiful, value for money !cons:bass - it is a bit "noisy" like a bit harsh sounding. but i don't mind. as it's not an actual piano !- the keys of course are not piano keys- i find you have to press them a bit harder and you have to get used to them to strike that balance of tonality.Minor details for this price...I adore my donner piano .. it's just amazing, and so much like an upright piano, i just can't believe it.Grateful.

I have been looking for a realistic-like digital piano for some time. This one sounds and feels like my upright and is so much nicer than I expected! It is very well made and a lot sturdier than the pictures let on. I was half expecting the pedals to be plastic like and easily flung around - but even the pedals have some weight to them! The piano itself is a decent weight too - not to mention waaaaayyyyy nicer looking than most of the options out there.From the moment it arrived I was impressed. You can tell the manufacturer actually cares about their product based on the way it was prepared for shipping (see pictures). I was hesitant to buy at first based on other reviews (namely the ones that said half the keys don’t work). I’m so glad I went for it! All my keys work thankfully, it sounds and feels great and looks even better! For the money - you just can’t beat it!

Updated review:One of the pedal (soft one) does not work. I called Amazon they said they can only refund the entire item after shipping back not exchange. Then one of the amazon agent said they can give max 10$ credit. My husband and I buy from amazon often and we know it is hard working as cs so we accepted. However, they changed to a specialist Jennifer she refused any previously agreed discount. At this point we are angry, escalated to the manager she still cant give anything for their company's customer service promises. If this is how amazon do business now no wonder they just had their lowest growth year. We are not buying amazon any time soon!Nice piano, great for my 4 years old son to start with some music influences. Also I found some people complaining the pedal plug not working with holes in the back. I'd like to confirm that is true, because the plug is actually at the bottom of the piano not the back, I put a picture just in case to help showing it. Hope it helps~
