You pay for what you get honestly. The speaker isn’t the greatest.

Pretty pleased with this, especially with the price! Claiming the keys are weighted is a bit generous. You can play softer and harder, but they certainly don’t have a truly weighted feel. For the price I’m still quite pleased!

I got this Donner DEP-1 Digital Piano 88 Keys Velocity-Sensitive, Beginner Digital Piano Keyboard with Sustain Pedal, Stand, Carrying Case and Keyboard Stickers for my 11 year old son so he can learn how to play the piano. This is a very simple piano keyboard with no electronic backing, just the keyboard for playing music. It comes with a simple stand which is so convenient, my stand came missing the straps to secure the keyboard in place but not a big deal. The keyboard is very long, it is a standard size instrument, it comes with sustain pedal and a case. Overall this is a very nice instrument for beginners.

This piano is perfect for my 12 year old who is learning to play. It’s so easy for him to use and a great tool for just starting out. It sounds great, too!

this piano is perfect for a beginner's set up. the addition of the stand is a huge plus and it's really easy to setup in a matter of seconds. the interface feels a bit on the minimal side but other than that I think this would be a perfect gift for music lovers.

I don't know piano. I'm terrible reading music. I'm trying and I'm glad I started here.Great little set with all you need, nice bag, nice table and it's rechargeable!!! Decent weighted board, easy to put together. Sounds good to me, I'm sure there are much more expensive ones with better speakers, but for the cost, I think it's right on par.Recommended for beginners trying to learn.

I ordered this Donner DEP-1 Digital Piano 88 Keys Velocity-Sensitive, Beginner Digital Piano Keyboard for my second home so I can practice when I'm away. I have been taking piano lessons through an app and teaching myself. The keyboard I already have was a hand me down I got over 20 years ago and pulled it out of the box about six months ago to use. The old unit has some keys that don't work and it gets interference from my phone which can be very annoying.I saw this and though I'd give it a try. First, it comes with everything you need except for a small bench seat. It even has the sticker labels for the keys so I don't have to buy them. The stand was pretty simple to assemble. This one has more keys than my older one so I will keep this one here and send the other one to the new vacation home.My son came home today while I was unpacking it and was happy to see it. He has a small studio that he setup with his friends in my basement and said it will interface with his equipment. It came charged, although I'm not sure how much it is charged. It says on the back there is a charging indicator which is green if battery is full. I haven't figured out if there's a way to tell when the battery runs low. There is one other item it didn't come with, a charging block for USB. The cord is very short so you need to have it close enough to a wall to charge it or something with a USB charger port.I then turned it on and it sounded nothing like my other keyboard. I use the "Piano" function so I had to play around with the tons of options to try and get it close enough to what I was used to. It isn't as simple as the instructions say it is. So as I am writing this I looked closer at the instructions and you have to press the Setting button with a piano key to choose the correct option. I was pressing the setting buttons with the plus/minus keys which is incorrect. Note: my piano app did pickup the sounds correctly though.I have not downloaded the Garageband app because I don't think I will need it.I also did not plug in or use the pedal. I haven't needed it in any of my lessons so I probably won't use it.The carrying case is a very nice addition for people who need to transport it as it would be very awkward to carry it. Just note the case would not fit the stand.I am very happy with this product and the workmanship.
