Perfect if pull out an intercom system. Used the same wiring for a ring doorbell. Just caulk around the edges and it takes a large opening and covers it. Super easy to install.

Received the item in great condition. Very well made. Quite hefty. So what’s the bad part? The opening where you set the camera into is TOO SMALL! Even with my meaty hands, I could not get it to seat. Even after making the opening larger with a sharp knife and scraping at the opening enlarging it, it still was just a bit too small. I had to scrape even more. Then, and only then I could pound the camera into the opening.Fantastic idea but screwed up execution. Nobody should have to customize an item to get it to work.I noticed that RING has come out with their own plate. That was not available when I ordered this.Please read the other reviews.Good luck.

The part is of poor quality and doesn’t fit the Ring PRO2 doorbell it’s supposedly made for. In fact, it doesn’t fit any Ring models. Finally, I discovered that this item is a cheap knockoff of the original product designed by the American company, Hidden River Lab.
