This elevated dog cot is described as being durable and made out of Teslin mesh. It can be hosed down or wiped to wash it. I will be using it while doing training outside instead of having my dog wait on the grass. It is described as a cool bed, but the mesh does feel like my dog would get sweaty on it after lying on it for a while. The fabric is like lawn chair or awning fabric that feels more like all plastic even though it’s Teslin (made up of polyester coated with PVC according to Google search). The website does suggest that a dog bed or mat could be placed on it. I have placed a thick towel on it. The instructions that came with it only named parts A-D, but there were pieces labelled “E”. It was easy to figure out though that this was an error. The last piece was difficult to put together until I put it on its side and let the mesh slip on the other sides and then it went in very easily. For the price, I would recommend it as an outdoor cot, but I’d definitely not use it without a cushion or thick towel if it is being used for long periods of time in the summer.

For the price point, this is a great raised bed that can be used indoors or outdoors. The plastic covering will wash easily and will give our boy something to lay on that's off of the ground. Fairly easy to put together and low enough to the ground that even small dogs would have no issue getting on the platform.

I got this bed for my 2 Toy Poodles, it’s large enough for them to spend their afternoons on the deck while I garden. There’s plenty of room to stretch out without getting in each other’s space, especially on hot days… plus it keeps them off the hot deck surface. I also have a cooling mat that I’ll probably throw on top on the very hot days, although the mesh material allows for ample air circulation to keep them cool. I like that the frame is metal, I had ones that were plastic, and they were obsessed with chewing the legs. The material is easy to clean, and thankfully, my dogs don’t shed, so I won’t have to worry about brushing out any fur.Overall, I’m very happy I got this elevated dog bed. It’s well-made and designed; however, I believe the mesh material may be slightly thinner than my previous raised dog bed, but hopefully just as strong… We’ll have to see.

My dog is a 55 pound Black Lab and Pitbull mix. I got her the large bed to give her a lot of space to lounge. It is a great size for her. She can stretch out and get quite comfortable. The construction of this is solid and the quality is great. I love the mesh material as it is easy to clean if the dog jumps up on it with mud all over her. It was simple to put together and didn't take too much time. And for the price of $49.90 at the time of this review, with a 20% off coupon you can apply to it, it's an excellent value!

I have a 75 LB Husky/Lab Mix dog that loves to play and rest on our back deck floor. But if it rains and the ground is wet, or too hot from the sun, my dog just wants to go back inside. But when I received and put together this Dopedio elevated dog hammock style bed, I immediately put it outside and my dog just loved it. She will run around in back yard and then rest herself directly onto this bed. She truly doesn't want to leave this unless I tell her it's dinner time! As my dog is a mid to larger size, this is the perfect bed and built to last as it features a sturdy iron frame and the mesh material is made of a extra tough teslin materials that allows airflow through it yet strong enough to hold her wait Putting it together was simple as I followed the instructions and just connected the pieces together without the need of any tools. We'll see how long this lasts during the hot summer months as previous beds left out became brittle and eventually ripped from the weight. Fingers crossed that this one will last a couple of summers at the very least. I'll keep you posted of any findings.

My 12 pounds yorkshire has so many beds but when I saw this one I thought it would be a great idea for summer... beside me in my hammock on my deck.So my dog seems about the same size as the one on the picture. Well the medium bed is big enough for two dogs like them.It is strong and sturdy as for the frame and extremely easy to mount (you'll have to tap it down toward the end so all four legs are flush to floor).The mat is mesh as described and is a "plastic-rubbery" cloth. It is very resistant but my advise is if you leave it outside cover it so the elements don't destroy it (I'm sure a full summer outside in sunlight and rain would break that material.The bed itself (material) is sturdy (not saggy).It is also very close to floor. Like one step. So if your dog has arthritis (mine is 13 years old) he will be very capable of getting into it.Excellent buy.
