I got this kit because the previous owner of my Jeep XJ decided to put one of these on the heater hose. The old one's cap had split from heat cycles I'm sure. This was the only 3/4" one online that had the hose attachment adapter and new clamps. I ended up cutting down the smaller size just so it would fit better where the original one had been placed on my Jeep. It seems to be doing the trick. Now if we could just get Jeeps to stop coming with 11/16" flippin heater hose that no one carries anywhere that would be great......

I use a flush kit on every used car I buy. Nothing short of a professional flushing machine does a better job. Do NOT use full city water pressure (50 to 90 PSI) on your coolant system (16PSI MAX). I let the engine run with the water just trickling out, until it runs clear. Then I shut the engine off and repeat. I use a glass jar to collect some of the runoff and let it settle for a few minutes. When there is nothing settled in the bottom of the jar, the system is clean.

I like doing my own work on my cars and truck. This makes flushing radiator much easier and the price was very good.

Very easy to install and works great. This helps a lot with manually bleeding a cooling system if the heater hoses are at the highest point in the system.
