I have a 2004 Mazda 3 I put this on. The cable for the two rear brakes was perfect fit. The cable that goes into the car to the e-brake handle was short. The bolt on the end of the cable was short by probably a couple of inches. I needed this for a safety inspection and wasn't able to make this work. I had to re use the original cable

The product fits perfectly on the car. I did not use the part connected to the handbrake lever. Only the 2 cables and they are exactly the same as the original, brackets, hanger, all the same.Very good product.

Amazon stated that this was not a fit for my Mazda 3. Well I can tell you that it is almost a perfect fit. Almost because I had to grind down the end that attaches to the brake handle. It was to thick to fit. The end has a rounded part which fits but it also has a squared part to it that is thicker and wouldn't fit. Simply grind it down to match the rounded part and then you are golden. The cable came with all the clips installed on it to match the Mazda 3 (2011 and similar model years) as well. It's a pretty easy install. Remove one heat shield from underneath and feed it into the car. You can easily install it on the inside by removing only the cup holders. No need to remove the whole center console like many YouTube videos suggest. All in all, very happy!

There is quite a lot of confusion regarding compatibility with this part. I double checked every part number replacement previous part numbers and I was almost 99% it was compatible and finally it is compatible. Very happy with this item.

Had to replace brake cable after replacing rear calipers as the old one was seized to them. Not the shortest job but this was a good replacement. Chose not to replace the linkage portion that goes into the cab. Just swapped the portions going to each caliper. Worked great.

I used this to replace broken e-brake cable on my 06 Mazda 3. Mounting by wheel was different though, as the original had a bolt on assembly. The new one had a stud without the nuts to hook the cable to secure it. I had to purchase that once I noticed they didn't send the nuts with the cable.

Great price and it comes with all 3 cables (left, right, equalizer). It also fits Mazda 3 up to and including 2013. Dorman part is same as Mazda OE BS3E-44-200K, which superceedes BS3E-44-200H; BP4K-44-152A; BP4K-44-152; BS3E-44-200J.If you check Mazda dealer or parts websites, you will see that BS3E-44-200K fits Mazda 3 from 04 to '13

Canadian Tire quoted me $330 CAD for replacing an e-brake cable ($80) on my 2006 Mazda3 (2.0L). Bought this for just $46 and replaced it myself in a few hours. Feels like a solid cable and works great. My only complaint is that it doesn't come w/ nuts for the 2 rear bolts (bolts are part of the cable) which attach to the body just before the cable gets to the caliper. Don't remember the size for the nuts but they're metric and not SAE (had to make 2 trips to Home Depot).

All 3 cables at a fraction of OEM. Appears well-made, but only on the car for a month. They use plastic coated inner cables, which should be durable. The connector where the 3 cables are joined is a different style than OEM, and needs to be squeezed together more to better retain and center the lug on the end of the handbrake cable. Not really a deal breaker, but just an additional part of the install. Also, this was installed without removing the console. It had it be fished into the handbrake lever, but saved a bunch of time. Just remove heat shield bolts underneath, and work around them.
