This is exactly what I was looking for. I’m able to utilize the plug I wanted even though I have no shelf nearby. Easy to install, looks neat and tidy, no cord showing. Would recommend and would buy again!

I find these Echo Dot 3rd gen (i.e., hockey Puck style) "Dot Genies" to be so convenient that I prefer the 3rd gen over the 4th gen Echo Dots in several applications. We have these installed in our upstairs common hallway (great for announcements for those in their bedrooms), our master bedroom (command central), and now our master bathroom (I know, seems unnecessary...).Given we own three, a review is in order. Simply put, these Dot Genies work very well. Suspending the gen 3 Echo Dots from an outlet with this product seems to actually improve their audio performance. Of course, it primarily provides a neat, tidy and compact form factor. It also makes it easy to move an Echo Dot around the house (assuming one doesn't have an Echo device in every room); literally just unplug, plug & play.The only knock on this product (and presumably every similar product available) is that the offset isn't large enough to account for the difference between the surface of the electrical outlet plate and the wall. Thus, the Echo Dot won't sit flush on the wall. Happily, I found an easy solution that works perfectly! Just install some self-adhesive rubber bumpers (the type used for kitchen cabinets & drawers) on the underside of the Dot Genie. Once applied, the Echo Dot will be squarely aligned to the outlet and sit flush on the wall with its rubber feet (bumpers)!There are many similar looking products on the market; some are cheaper. However, I settled on this one because the speaker is not obstructed by the clasping mechanism. The speaker is also very securely attached, but can be removed from the Dot Genie without damage if desired. So, a solid 5 out of 5 starts (provided rubber bumpers are used).

This plastic holder does exactly what you expect it to do - easily wall mount your Echo Dot 3 on a plug.It only takes up one plug space and can be mounted vertical or horizontal. Cables tuck away inside for a clean look.Sturdy and not shoddy.

I love this thing. It’s super compact and looks great (from far) but it is sooooooo cheaply made. The pics look sturdy but this thing is super flimsy. If this were under $10, I would give it 5 stars but I give it 3 stars because even though it work as advertised I must acknowledge that it is obviously very cheaply made.

Works great, nice to get to the cord mess off the counter and free up some space, it was too long to fit in the bottom plug in a downward fashion, but the echo dot plug in is more than sturdy enough to hold it up on the top plug, great product, would recommended 100%!

So.....I bought three and one came broken. I’m using it anyway. They are hard to get the echo into but once I did I was pretty happy because there were no more cords kicking around.The plastic is cheap and they should cost less because they arrive broken etc...but it really does work even with a clip missing.Most important feature.....they do not interfere with the sound at all... if you get them in right.The big problem with hanging up an echo is the giant plug it has and not so much the hanging solution.I think they are safe hung up so I’m glad I have this product.

Ease of setup exactly as shown. This allowed me to remove my dots from counter space where spills and clutter collect. Tucks away cords so I can totally enjoy the sound of my Echo Dots without viewing the clutter of cords or items on my furniture or counters. No one needs to see just where the music is coming from.... I love it.

Pros: work really slickly. Holds the Dot securely, doesn't block the speaker, well built and everything fits tightly, hides the cable like a proCons: Expensive for what they are, 3 pack is available for only the white ones. Why!?!?I needed three so was forced to buy the white three pack as it's the most economical. They're not so bad though and actually contrast nicely with the black Echos. When I opened the package and saw them though I knew that, even at he discounted price for three, they are really expensive for what you get. And a single unit for $15??? fuhgeddaboudit!!!! The three pack brings them in at about 10 bucks each and, although high, I can live with that.Overall they work great and I would recommend them.

While I admit to being slightly obsessive when it comes to keeping cables orderly, these worked wonders both for their appearance, and for being able to keep my need to keep cords hidden. I wouldn't suggest putting the speaker on the top, as it is simply too much downwards torque, and given the North American plugs for the Echo Dot 3 are simply 2 prongs, it would be way too easy for these to fall down. That being said, putting the plug so it is above the speaker works great, and in rooms like bathrooms / kitchen counters etc, works well. There was minimal (if any) issues with sound and the results were well worth it.
