Honestly this cup is great, with one exception. It is extremely difficult to clean under the lid where the straw goes. Even with the pipe cleaner that it comes with, soaking it in bleach, and all the other tricks I've tried - it still has that haunting brown/black guck that I just can't get out. If you can't clean it - its not good.

I got this bottle for my daughter as she was taking her older brothers Zak bottles but she's only 10 months old and the flow rate on the Zak was too strong. The bottle leaks badly so it's not ideal for a baby learning to use a bottle on their own.

Our first straw broke, thought we would need to buy a new cup but turns out we only need to buy the straw replacement! Works perfectly with the dr browns original cup.

In hindsight I would have bought a bunch of these since cleaning them is a pain. But great replacement.

Baby Girl (10 months) has been using this cup now for a little over a week or so and absolutely loves it. IT was easy for her to pick up (and throw on the floor) and found the straw pretty easily. The only thing this mama dislikes about this cup is it tends to leak a little when it's not upright. Honestly not a big deal, but just a little annoying. I love that it comes apart easily for cleaning and the handy little cleaning brush is a nice bonus! Would definitely buy again! We love Dr.Brown's products!

This cup changed the water drinking game for us! We tried others but my daughter was not interested. She brings this cup with her when she is on the move! Easy to clean and the weighed straw makes it easy to use. It does leak a bit when upside down but it doesn't bother me.

This cup was a lot harder to suck the liquid out that I had imagined. All the little pieces make it harder than other cups to clean too

I’ve been using Dr. Brown’s Milestones Baby’s First Straw Cup with my son since he was 9 months old, and it’s been a fantastic transition from his traditional nipple bottle! He absolutely loves it and seems to prefer it over the bottle. The weighted straw is a great feature, allowing him to drink from any angle, and it’s designed in a way that makes it easy for him to sip without spilling. The 9oz size is perfect for his age for one serving of milk, and the soft, flexible straw is gentle on his gums. The cup also has easy-to-grip handles, which make it simple for him to hold and drink by himself, helping to foster his independence. I also appreciate that it's easy to clean and assemble. The cup is durable and has held up well through daily use. This training cup has made the transition to straw drinking much smoother for my little one, and I’m so happy with how well he’s taken to it. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to introduce their baby to straw drinking!

We have dr. Brown sippy cups but I lost the straw to one. These were great cups that my son loves so I bought this replacement straw. He hates it. I tried it myself and no matter how hard I suck on the straw nothing came out. What the heck is wrong with these replacement straws? It seems put together properly, all parts there in proper place etc but does not work. Very disappointed.

My baby is almost 18 months, but was born premature and has undiagnosed growth issues. She is the height and weight of a 6 month old, however she is 100% her age mentally. Her size limits her ability to do certain things (she may be stubborn as well lol) like hold up a bottle or sippy as a typical toddler would. She’s in daycare and not only needs but wants to be able to do things herself like the other kids around her.We love Dr. Browns anyways. She’s been using the ultra preemie nipples since the nicu and we’re still using level 3 nipples and bottles for formula 18 months later. The bottles are incredible. They make an adapter kit to make the bottles into sippies which is how she learned to use the straw but it’s only for the tall bottles which aren’t really as easy to carry around. But this is about the sippy. The weighted straw is genius. No matter how the cup is held, the straw flexes and the weighted end moves to the water so she’s always able to drink.ONLY downfall…she only has 1 front bottom tooth and 4 molars and is in a constant state of teething. She nibbled a hold in the end of one of her straws and as far as I can find there are no replacement options. So I had to cut the tip. It still works but would love to be able to buy replacements!EDIT: GIVE US MORE COLOURS! I want the pink and purple, or even the bright green, the dark blue and coral are so boring 😂

We tried the munchkin straw cups, but I hated cleaning those. I find these ones easier to clean, easier to drink from, and better quality. They are leakproof if you hold them upsidedown, but when my 1 year old throws them on the ground with the straw out, a couple tiny drops will come out (I think that is the case for any straw cup).
