The DRYFOB Waterproof Car Key Container is the original scuba diving capable car key container, and the only one you'll ever need.
Invented by two master scuba divers in Miami, it was released in 2021 and is now trusted by thousands of divers worldwide. The DRYFOB's proven design keeps your electronic car key dry, even at depth.
All DRYFOB models have now been certified and IPx8 water immersion rated to 330ft (100m) by an accredited US lab
This is by no means a depth limitation, just the parameter we specified for our testing
Perfect for Scuba Diving and any other watersports or extreme sports where you want to protect your FOB from the elements.
The interior of the DRYFOB is 1.65" (42mm) by 3.75" (95mm) and designed to fit all standard car key FOBs.
The DRYFOB-L is slightly larger with an interior cavity size of 1.81” (46mm) by 3.93” (100mm) and made for larger FOBs.
Both are neutrally buoyant with a FOB with a positive buoyancy of 2.3oz (65g) when empty and 3.2oz (92g) for the DRYFOB-L.
Please ensure your car key fits before ordering.
The patent pending DRYFOB Car Key Containers are machined out of a solid piece of rugged aluminum alloy and anodized for additional strength and corrosion protection.
Dual O-rings and ample threads are used to provide a waterproof seal.
There are two attachment points which can accommodate a (not included) bungee, ring, or clip.
Small enough that most divers carry their DRYFOB in a BCD pocket but can be clipped to a D-ring or other secure spot.

Sieht sehr gut aus, und ist beim Test bis 43m auch noch alles trocken. Ich habe es nur mit einem Schaumstoff ausgekleidet, das es nicht so rasselt. Bearbeitung top. Stolzer Preis, doch was kostet ein neuer Autoschlüssel... Ich kann die Box nur empfehlen. Einfach top.

So far been down to 60 feet in my dry suit without issues. Well made machined aluminum. Big enough to hold a typical car fob. A bit pricey.

Used it for shore scuba diving down to 60 feet. No leaks. It’s built very similarly to my diving flash light. I don’t expect it to fail. It’s much better than the plastic snorkeling ones most people are buying

As a scuba diver who travels, dealing with a car key is always a problem. I never feel comfortable hiding a key, and there's nothing I've found that I can trust to keep a fob dry under pressure - until this. The large size is big enough to hold a larger fob and is totally water tight. It's the same design as several light housings we have for dive lights. I can't believe no one thought of this sooner!

Purchased the DryFob v2 (46 x 100mm inner dimensions) for a recent 2 week dive trip to Bonaire. The unit is very well made and precision fit with a double O-ring design. The overwhelming advice for Bonaire shore diving is to leave the rental truck unlocked w/ no valuables inside due to petty theft / break-ins. There was enough space for a medium sized KeyFob (Chang'an), 2 small spare camera batteries (GoPro 10 + Sony RX100VA / NP-BX1), some cash, and the condo door key. The unit performed great and I had no issues with water ingress during two weeks of daily shore diving.Note - Not quite large enough for a credit card / US driver's license. They make an XL model that will hold credit cards, but it's a good bit larger and 3/4 lb positively buoyant (empty). I'd rather have this size DryFob and take emergency cash instead of a credit card.
