The pin itself is fine, but the "solid locking system" is not solid at all. It's just a swivel locking system, like a lot of other pins. In my opinion, this type of attachment is not good because it slips too easily, which can make you lose the pin. If the maker had used the safety pin style instead, I would have given it five stars.

This is a cheap metal that appears to have a chrome coating. One broke as I was pinning it on my denim kilt and the other is flaking.

I love swords and having a celtic design on a sword pin is awesome. The pin works well and the piece seems to be solid material rather then a coating. Love the look.

The pin is nicely executed my only problem is that the needle is very soft my suggestion to fix that would be to replace the needle with steel or bronze so that it does not get bent so easily when you put it through a heavy fabric like a heavy w.ool or cotton

Very good for the price very good weight looks very sharp modern unlike other kill pins this one stay stable and in place and doesn't come undone as some of the other ones

This kilt pins elicits much interest because it’s not a traditional design. Very nicely finished; however, the pin’s weight could be a bit heavier.
