UPGRADE YOUR METAL ROOF: Duco's R panel foam closure strips are designed to keep rain, snow, rodents, insects, moisture, pests and much more out of any building or structure that has metal roofs. Each strip is incredibly lightweight and easy to cut and install under your metal roofing sheet and plugs the gaps of the roofing sheets when placed above the roof's eaves. Being that the strips are made from a polyethelene foam material and not styrofoam, rubber, plastic, steel, clear acrylic, fiberglass, vinyl or polycarbonate they can withstand high heat. Each strip inserts seamlessly at the edge of most PBR or R panel metal roofing systems and creates an almost decorative look in the way they blend into the shadow of the overhanging roof, acting as a perfect foam underlayment. In addition to all of the aforementioned features and benefits, these strips have a joiner (fasteners) on each side, allowing them to dock and clamp onto the end points of one another, making sure they stick together and can continually form an extension of one another. These do not come with sticky self adhesive fixtures. These closure strips are specifically for the 12” R Panel profile and WILL NOT FIT ANY 9” PROFILE. I was told by the Erector that he has waited up to 3 weeks to get the gaskets for metal buildings closures. I received the first 20 the next day, and a additional 50 two days later, to get my project completed on time. A necessary component when building a Barndominium.
