I wanted it to bind sheets of music and it works well. Would buy again.

Not very strong. Fine to go through paper, but when I tried to punch through a laminated sheet to complete my book, it was too difficult. It didn't punch through the laminated sheets very well and ended up causing damage to my project.

The binding portion is as expected but the hole punch is not very good. Requires a fair bit of force and the machine in its entirety seems to be made cheaply. It does the trick but you can only punch a handful of sheets at a time (max 5 before you feel like the whole thing will break) despite the ad saying it'll punch 10-12 sheets. Not worth the price for the quality.

This hole-punch and binder works very well. The punch handles up to 10 sheets of paper at a time, so far larger jobs, I needed to break it up into 9 sheet batches. The kit comes with a box of 100 comb spines, which it says are for 50-60 sheets. I pretty much filled up a spine with 40 pages, but I plan to buy a variety of spines for whatever we need. The video provided in the product description did a good job of showing me how to operate the machine, and there’s not much instruction needed at all - the 2 min video covers it! I’ve been paying $10-$17 to have my 17-page reports spiral bound. Now this binder pays for itself after 3 uses!

I have a few old cookbooks that the binding comb has broken, and the pages are loose. These are the church fundraiser type cookbooks that we wanted to keep but had no way of fixing the spine. This has worked perfectly; I did have to cut the combs down to fit the cookbooks. We also plan on using this to produce some cookbooks to do fundraisers for different activities. This was easy to use and I would purchase again.
