Bought these on recommendation for cleaning z-screws on 3d printer. Used cut strips of chux wipes before but these feel easier to manage. They are long enough and do a good job at removing old lubricants from the screws, the length is substantial enough to do the complete maintenance with one cord (ymmv depending on how often maintained). They offer the choice to wash and reuse but I use them as consumables.

This product was recommended in the 3d printing community for cleaning lead screws on printers. I tried them out and they worked great! I've never seen the rods so clean. I'd give it 5 stars if they were longer. I highly recommend these for cleaning lead rods on 3d printers.

Got a tip on the Bambu lab facebook forum that these can be used to clean your z rods. And it works. A little IPA, wrap around the lead screw amd you can clean it all the way up or down. Perfect.

I should have grabbed a before and after picture! - cleaned my 3D printer (BBL X1C) lead screws with these microfiber floss's, they look/feel/perform brand new. I mean these strings were a HUGE help to clean these and made it near effortless, I just sprayed the screws, wrapped these around once, and started a sawing motion back and forth, up and down like I saw in a video and within moments the screws sludge melted away!Seriously love these and I used 1 per screw just because this package contains so many! Im probably set for life on these strings they give you so many as well :)
