Received the item in good shape. It doesn't fit the dewalt DCST920 trimmer as advertised. The instructions looked like they have been photocopied 10 times. One of the steps was to refer to figure "N". there was no figure N in the instructions.

I installed this trimmer head on a DeWalt DCST922 string trimmer. Installation was fairly simple and the kit came with an Allen (hex) wrench to keep the trimmer from turning so that the old head could be loosened and the new one tightened. The new trimmer head seems to stronger and better built, it works better in every aspect, especially when bumping out more line. I'm quite happy with this upgrade, the original DeWalt one didn't last very long and the plastic cap broke.

I would rate this head higher if it did not mark up hardscapes. Keep it away from hard surfaces and it will most likely last a long time.
