  • The inner mounting diameter of RK-C6 v2 is 210mm. You will need to check the mounting specifications of your speaker if not using Earthquake. Mounting diameter should be between 200mm–210mm in order to work with the RK-C6 v2

Each rough-in kit is designed to expedite home audio installation during new construction with guaranteed customer satisfaction. Straightforward installation is made possible with the dog-ear mounting wings and mounting ring brackets. The ring bracket provides 360 degrees of positioning for versatility. The perforated anti-rust aluminum wings can be trimmed to a desired length and securely fastened with staples, nails, and screws right into the ceiling joists providing a reliable setup within a matter of minutes.

These seem to be good quality but they aren't cheap for something that you are going to bury in a ceiling. I can confirm that these work with the Sonos sonance speakers 6" speakers.
