Well made, easy to put together. Holds everything and appears to be leak proof so far. I don't think I would have an adult sit on it tho. Looks very nice on my porch. Does not weigh much, easy to move around on the porch. Happy with my purchase.

The 60 gallon DOES NOT have metal hydraulic hinges even though the video on the product specifies that it does. The lid just click on and uses small plastic pieces to move it. Might not last long.

This storage box is exactly what I needed for my bird seed and gardening supplies. It was easy to put together (I’m a 73 year old grandma who still opens her own pickle jars) and I had absolutely no problem snapping the panels together. The only glitch came when I went inside to get a screwdriver to fasten the bar. I set the screws down somewhere and they haven’t been seen since. (I’m blaming the wind.) Fortunately when I contacted customer service they were awesome and shipped more screws to me right away. I would highly recommend both the product and the company!

This storage box was purchased for using on our back patio. I had it completely assembled and in use within a few minutes. We selected the brown 60 gallon which is the perfect size for us. This box looks good and is solid enough to sit on. It was priced a bit on the high side like everything these days but we are still happy with our purchase.

I originally obtained this EAST OAK 60 gallon outdoor storage box to store pool equipment, but decided instead to use it for Amazon package deliveries when I know I will not be home. It's perfectly suited to that task, provided packages are not too large. The six plastic box panels arrived well boxed in good condition, along with a metal reinforcement rod, 6 screws, an owner's manual, and a warranty card. No lock was included. The panels snap together fairly easily, I can now say in hindsight. Unfortunately, I feel the instructions could be better written to help clods like myself to avoid mishaps, and perhaps the pieces could also be labeled more clearly with bold yellow stickers (especially the bottom piece!).I had the misfortune of first attaching the two side panels into the bottom panel (building from bottom up), snapping them solidly in place. I then realized that the front and rear panels could not be attached to that beginning configuration - not a chance. Referring back to the owner's manual I discovered my error - that the side panels must first be attached to the front and rear panels. Oops! The problem I encountered afterwards is that once the pieces are snapped together it is next to impossible to separate them. I tried several times unsuccessfully, coming to the realization that I would likely have to discard all the pieces to the recycle bin. The project was halted for a week as I stewed on a solution. I disliked the idea of throwing this brand new product away.I still really wanted this box for package deliveries, as some of those deliveries would occur when I was not going to be at home. So, I returned to the task of separating the pieces. After some trial and error I was ultimately able to disconnect each snap point by wedging two thin flathead screwdrivers under the snap hook, using a rubber mallet to drive them deeper so that the hook could be pushed back. Then I used a steel rod and the mallet to force the hook out, which worked, with some struggle. Once the first hook/snap was dislodged, I applied the same method to the other eleven snap points, essentially unzipping the pieces, and was eventually successful at separating the pieces after an hour or two, inflicting some minor damage along the way. Thereafter I was able to put the box together properly, despite the holes in the reinforcement rod not aligning well with the screw hole locations in the lid. I described my mistakes and solutions here to help others, as reading through other reviews I'm not the only person that had problems putting this box together. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, AND WATCH THE QR-CODE-LINKED VIDEO IN THE MANUAL BEFORE YOU SNAP ANYTHING TOGETHER.Once properly assembled, the box feels sturdy enough for the task. However, the box is not waterproof as stated, but better described as water resistant. The lid has enough overhang to shield rain, but there are no rubber gaskets, so if water pools around the bottom it will certainly get into the box. Another quibble is that the lid's snap-in "hinge" is an obvious weak point. If the lid is opened and falls backwards that hinge could easily break - as at least one disgruntled reviewer described. For that reason it is best to place the back of this box against a wall or other location where the lid can't fold backwards. The lid should have come with a rod or tether to prevent it from falling backwards.Overall I'm happy with this box, and could easily recommend it. I can't blame the manufacturer for my mishaps, but will reiterate that the instructions could be more clear (with bold RED LETTER warnings), and the pieces better labeled.
