I bought the Parhlen Educational Toys Building Blocks for my 5-year-old, and it's been a hit! The 244 pieces provide endless possibilities for imaginative play. The electric screwdriver adds an extra element of fun and helps develop fine motor skills. My child spends hours constructing different creations, and I love seeing their creativity in action. The set is durable and well-made, perfect for both boys and girls. It's also a great educational tool, teaching problem-solving and spatial skills. Highly recommend for kids ages 3-10!"

This was a great Christmas gift for my 3 year old grandson. While there are lots of pieces, they fit easily into a big Ziplock bag and, of course, the case. Our granddaughter, who is 2 years older, got right into the action too, and they played for quite a while. It's a great little toy to play with the child together, too. This is a great toy at a great price.

I bought this toy for my 3 (nearly 4) year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. It does have small pieces that a child will need to be old enough to know not to put in their mouth, and also how to keep them contained and not lose them. The pieces all fit inside the box provided; but we ended up using a Tupperware box with a lid, and I added my own cardboard dividers to keep the pieces separate as opposed to using the carrying box, so it doesn’t have to be continuously opened or otherwise dumped out to be played with. It features different difficulty levels of play with the easiest being the paper pictures with holes and the button type push ins; a level up would be working with screws and tools, and then attempting to build flat 2D pictures with the shapes on a blank background, or using the booklet provided to build 3D creations being the most difficult. The toy doesn’t come with enough nuts for all the screws and I think it should have more of these both. Otherwise my daughter wants to play with it all the time. She packs it up to take to her papa’s house and enjoys making different patterns on the board. By far her favorite gift; she even likes it better than her dollhouse I got her the year prior.

I bought this for my 4 year old nephew for Christmas, all reports back are that he loves playing with it!I have a hard time buying toys for kids, as a practical gift giver, but this one checked the practical boxes. It works on hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, creativity and confidence growth. For a boy who loves to do it himself and work with tools, this gift beat all others.I would have purchased it for my daughter if she was younger too.

My 3 year old would be around when I am doing some wood work. He wanted to tighten the nuts, use my screw driver etc. but he couldn't as he did know how the screws and nuts worked. So to teach him those basics and let him build his own creations, we purchased this kit. It's great. It has the screws and nuts and various shapes to build upon. They are colorful so he is attracted towards using his favorite color all the time. The guide book/ sample pictures of various items is helpful and he urges us to build the same with him. He has already tried couple of designs in one month.Only one request if I could make to the seller/manufacturer is that, if they could have compartments in the white plastic container for storing the screws/nuts/ other items properly, that would be really helpful. Currently our storage looks like the attached picture. Also, if you could improve the quality of the plastic of the container that would really take the product to the next level. Right now, the container plastic looks little cheap. The quality of the screws, nuts and other items is great so no complaint about that.Well though product! Good going Karen Miller!

This product is great. My toddler loves it. From the drill to the screw driver to the cardboard pictures you can push pin through. The set will grow with him as it has lots of items and he can use his imagination to build.I originally felt the drill was a bit slow, the company was very good and sent me another drill. They remedied the problem as soon as I reached out.

Baught this for my 3 years old brother and then realized its so many pieces, he is pass the age of eating them to be dangerous. But there were so many pieces and could go all around his room and house and someone could go on them and hurt their feet. Also he would loose most of them by 1 week. So it wasnt a good gift for this age but it was a very complete set maybe for 5,6 years old kid. Overall a good prodcut but just not for my use.

We gave this building set to our grand-daughter for her 4th birthday on November 1st. I wanted to get her a building toy that she would be interested in and with colors and projects that would appeal to her. She loved it and was excited to use the working electric drill/screwdriver toy that comes with the set. The electric screwdriver needs two AA batteries. It comes with three or four different bits so the child can learn to change the bit depending on the screw or nut he/she is tightening. There is also a regular hand-powered screwdriver. There are lots of screws, nuts, washers, bolts, and different types and sizes of colorful pieces you can use to build things. Everything is made of plastic and is of very good quality. You can make flat projects on the peg board, or can use the peg board as a base to build something that stands up. There are also a number of colorful pre-cut patterns that the child can use on the peg board and it comes with an instruction sheet to showing various things to build. This toy was a hit! I'm glad I bought it.
