Smooth Luffa, also known as sponge gourd, is a vegetable plant that is widely grown in tropical and subtropical regions. The plant is a member of the Cucurbitaceae family, which includes other popular vegetables like cucumbers, melons, and pumpkins.

Smooth Luffa is a climbing vine that can grow up to 30 feet in length. It produces long, cylindrical fruits that are typically harvested when they are still young and tender, around 12 to 18 inches in length. The fruits have a smooth, light green skin and a cylindrical shape, similar to a cucumber or zucchini.

Smooth Luffa is a popular vegetable in many Asian countries and is used in a variety of dishes, including stir-fries, soups, and curries. The vegetable has a mild, slightly sweet flavor and a tender, crunchy texture when cooked. In addition to its culinary uses, Smooth Luffa is also used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments, including constipation, fever, and respiratory infections.

In some cultures, the mature fruit of the Smooth Luffa is dried and its fibrous interior is used as a natural sponge for cleaning and scrubbing. The sponge-like texture of the mature fruit's interior is used to gently exfoliate skin, remove dead skin cells, and promote blood circulation. The sponge can also be used for cleaning and scrubbing dishes, floors, and other surfaces.

Overall, Smooth Luffa is a versatile plant with culinary, medicinal, and household uses.

Package sent was for 5 seeds. You can clearly see on that back of the package a makeshift label stating “10 seeds”. Extremely disappointing. 🤦🏻‍♂️😤
