Unlike the slinky-type toys available to me locally this one is long enough and heavy enough that it has good momentum when you fling one end down a flight of stairs. Lots of fun trying to get the speed and loft just right.

My Mum and Husband loved them, I see my mum play with it daily as a fidget type of toy. 10/10

This slinky is everything I wanted it to be.It's long.Where has this been all my life? I felt in my soul, since first laying hands on an original Slinky,... it... it should be longer.Don't get me wrong. I greatly enjoyed hefting one end upward for it to cascade it's weight into my opposite hand only to heft that end, repeating the cycle endlessly. I knew there could be more. More heft. More travel. Here it is folks. The fidget spring of your dreams. No longer will you lust after magician's talents of shuffling a deck of cards one handed through the air into their opposite hand. Don't tell me you never wanted to do that. Well, let me tell you, I have never accomplished that card trick, but there is no doubt in my mind that cascading this longboi slinky from hand to hand is far more satisfying. Buy this without regret.

I purchased this slinky because the circumference looked large and the metal looked durable for what I was using it for. I used wire cutters to cut in half. I saw a video on line on how you place these on your bird feeder poles. When a squirrel climbs up the pole and grabs the slinky, they take a ride down the pole and can't access the feeders. YeS, it has worked for now plus on occasion I get a chuckle as I watch them ride the slinky down the pole. I'm sure the spring will eventually lise its quality but for now, the squirrels eat on the ground & the birds are in the feeders

Absolutely the best slinky out there, physics lesson grade, that simply above and beyond cheaper plastic/metal toy versions, which cannot even walk the stairs. The convincing heaviness and smooth movement make it hard to stop playing, even for the grown-ups

These Slinky's are the best. Once it arrived first thing I did send it down basement stairs and it did each one.I have somewhere a slinky I bought many years ago and it would do two to three stairs and stop. What I plan to do with these Slinky's is use them to make antenna in attic

A bit too stiff to show transverse waves properly, also won't go down stairs like original slinky. Could have been wrapped in box in stead of plastic cover.
