I purchased the wrong notebooks; I thought these were from another company. These are okay. The covers are stiff and prone to getting dinged up on the edges and the dot grids are darker and wider spaced. So, useable and just okay. I wouldn’t purchase again having used the other brand.

I have been using these as a monthly pocket calendar/todo list for 11 months now, and I absolutely love them. I put a date on the top of each page and have 15 or so empty scratch pad pages at the end of each notebook for doodling, notes, or specialized project lists. I have tried many productivity/task tracking apps over the years, and found them all a pain to use and would eventually give up on them all. These little books fit in my back pocket, and I pair them with a red-blue-black-multi-pen. I have had the most organized and productive, year of my life, which has allowed be to be less stressed and plan more time for fun projects and trips and stuff... 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

As the title suggests I use these little notebooks for anything and everything. I keep notes, project ideas, lists, workout tracking and more inside of them.I love the versatility of the dot grid layout as I can do everything from jot down reminders to draw a schematic without changing paper. The size is perfect for me, the paper holds up to all sorts of pens and markers without being too thick and they are just functional for my life.

I was thinking it was Field Notes., But they got me. Spur of the moment purchase oh 5 for 15$ sure. But still exactly what I wanted. Nice pocket notebook. Pretty much a carbon copy of Field Notes. This is made in china/England, vs Field Notes made in USA.

These notebooks are more reasonably priced than some of the competition, the per page cost is around 4 cent, other brands can be up to 9 cents per page (US cents). I find most of the modern notebooks rather overpriced, so this is somewhat okay. For writing I mostly use a waterman fountain with fine nib and Iroshizuku ink, there is no bleeding through the page and the feel is good and smooth. When I'm not using a fountain pen, I either use a 0.5mm mechanical pencil or a Fisher Bullet Space Pen, both work great as well. The one downside for which I substracted one star: the dot pattern is plain too strong/dark. It gets in the way and is intrusive into the content of the note. I might have to switch to a differently colored ink, but my guess is that all dark inks (dark blue, black, etc.) will have the same issue, so something on the red side of the color wheel might work. I'll probably give that a try at some point. On the other hand, the dot pattern is spaced nicely for writing on every line, something that can't always be said. So, my one wish to the manufacturer: make the dot pattern less intrusive and maybe add an option for 64 instead of 48 pages, than it would be perfect.

This are nice, practical field books. I use them for taking trail notes or measuring things off for construction projects. They write cleanly and have a place on the inside cover for personal information and project information -- which I did not expect but was a nice surprise. The back cover was a short ruler. These are less expensive (for 5 books) than the I previously used.I was able to stamp the front cover and write on it with a marker. My only complaint is that the cover is not blank. I like to draw on them as a visual reminder. The label is not particularly helpful on the front, and it is also on the back (smaller). A small belt around the pack would be enough to distinguish them from the competitors. Stickers adhere well to them.I wish the seller had a "subscribe" option to reorder these on set intervals. I like to use a new notebook for each project and I always run out at bad times.
