The electric guitar speaker delivers impressive sound clarity and punch, making it a great addition to any guitarist’s setup. With strong mids and crisp highs, it enhances the overall tone of the guitar, allowing for rich, dynamic play.

Cons: Very tiny and tinny sound. Overdrive channel is more of a distortion than an actual drive -- it actually lowers the volume. Cord is exceedingly light. They put an unpolarized American style plug on a very light cord with a Chinese wire gauge designation (it converts to 20 AWG, lighter than the cheap dollar store extension chords, at 16 AWG.) Unconventional wire colors inside (note both speaker wires are green.) No fuse. Very small (the other amps in my pic are only 8" speaker amps.) Overall the unit is made as cheaply as possible. I had a much better amp with the same overall size and design years ago.Pros: loud enough for practice and fairly clean without the overdrive. Nice corner guards on the cabinet. Volume and tone controls work well and smoothly.I bought this because I had a 4 Ohm, 6" Jensen speaker that I wanted to use; the listing has a picture of the back of the unit showing 4 Ohms. The unit I received has absolutely no information on Ohms. It sounds good with the Jensen but I'm uncomfortable not knowing the actual resistance.Update: after playing this for a few day I have to say that I like it. Very loud and clear sound with the Jensen speaker. I did put on a heavier cord and a grounded (3 prong) plug and grounded the entire unit. That seemed to knock down a little hum. One thing that does still bother me is that all of the jacks and pots are soldered directly onto a printed circuit board -- that makes the amp almost disposable if a jack fails.

Listen - the reviews and complaints levied against this amp are all fair. It’s not very loud, the distortion is a joke, and the hardware is likely subpar. Here’s the thing that it seems we have all forgotten - this amp weighs like, a pound. You can take it anywhere that has a power hookup without hurting yourself. It’s clear channel sounds absolutely fine (kinda hard to mess up) - and while I think it’s an affront to rock music - at least the amp offers a distortion option. This amp is exactly what you’d expect a cheap beginner amp to be, and for the price I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.If you’re just starting out - or have a child or friend who’s beginning their journey I don’t think you should overlook this amp.And if you’re looking for a small amp to just throw around and bring with you when you’re out of the house and going to be playing in a hotel room or a families/friends house and you’re going to try to not bother the entire house - this is still a totally solid pick.Go in knowing what it is and you’ll find you’re having a better experience with it than hoped! Bonus - it has an aux hookup so you can play music from your phone through the amp and pretend you’re playing with your favorite band!
