Got these for 1 purpose...LEGO!I much prefer the removable cups and these are perfect for light duty. I personally wouldn't trust these with nuts n bolts n washers, I think the case couldn't hold up over time like name brands doBut these are perfect for lightweight. So beads, lego, craft supplies are perfectThe double set allows you to easily make one case for bulkier items and another case for small pieces

The removable storage units are critical for me, which this has, however, it's not good for heavy things since the lid flexes. I filled several sections with nails and when I carried the tote by the handle, the lid flexed and the contents got mixed up. It took about 40 minutes to sort things out. There are definitely better quality units out there but not at this price. You just have to remember that very full units need to be carried on the flat, not vertically.

I love what this box could be! It's design is nearly perfect, but the execution is lacking. It is very flimsy, especially when loaded down with parts (like it's supposed to be). I haven't broken it yet, but it bends and twists and flexes in my hand. I try to use both hands when I handle it just so I don't lose my parts all over the floor. The removable compartments are great though. This is why I bought it and it works super well. I replaced a huge peg board full of baby food jars with just two of these modestly sized storage bins!Another good thing is that the parts have not shifted. They stay in the bin I put them in. I'm hoping this remains the case, but the flexing of the lid makes me nervous. If you had a shelf to store these where you rarely had to carry them, they would be perfect. But if you're going to load them down with nuts and washers etc and try to carry this around, then I may keep looking. That being said, I bought another one!

This is a solid, value-priced T-Box style case that gets the job done. I've looked at quite a few of these and this case works and is generally 30-50% less than the next useful option. I test these cases by putting 2 M2 screws in 10 bins (see pictures) and then closing the lid and shaking the crap out of it to see where they end up. Pass rate was 100% - none shifted from their original bin.Now for the cons: This case has a decent build - much better than I expected for the price - but its still lightweight and won't stand up to heavy use (you're not going to be tossing them in the bed of the pickup, for example). The latches are thin and lightweight. I'm not sure how long they'll last. They've held up through a month of careful use, but they clearly won't stand abuse. Next there is no means of latching cases together if that is one of the T-Box traits you wanted. Outside those things, these are very nice and great value for the price. I believe I can 3D print latches when they fail, and may do it anyway just to get heavier duty connection. As long as the latching doesn't become a problem, these are the best value I've found. If you want a step up in quality, look at the Husky 16.5" Small Parts Organizer (if you can find it), or Allit (30% more for basic, >2x more for Pro) and Mixpower (50% more but heavier build). Finally for those handy with CAD and access to a 3D printer (or someone with both), consider buying a case with configurable storage (the little plastic dividers) and then printing sets of bins to convert it to removable storage. Those cases can be had for less than half similar quality removable storage cases. (FWIW: I've tried it and find simply buying ones like this is easier in most cases. But for the higher you go up in case quality, the more that approach makes sense.)
