Rendu très riche et bien équilibré, superbe ! Monté en lieu et place du Swamp Thang de chez Eminence trop "sombre" à mon goût sur un Fender Blues Deluxe ...et pour mon style de jeu (jazz, blues, rock/funk).

I built a speaker box for the Speaker and used the Bluejay bandamp Preamp head. I sound very clean and clear. Looking forward to playing this setup a little louder to experience the break.

Bought four of these to replace the old and tired CTS speakers in a '77 Traynor YRM-1SC (Canadian version of a Fender Super Reverb). The main selling features for me were higher than usual power handling, and a fat dB sensitivity rating.I use a floorboard-effects unit to play country, rock and blues, and for the country I need a lot of clean headroom. These did not disappoint! They handle bass and fat mids WAY better than the original drivers did, and are quite noticeably louder at the same volume settings. Great tone, and a decent price.Perfect..

Background: I've been using my Stage Right 15 Watt amp for over a year, and while I absolutely love that amp, I can't help but notice that the Overdrive/distortion sounded too harsh for my liking. This got accentuated when I started using either the Proco Rat or the Boss Blues Driver, it sounded good, but super harsh! The solution: I kept watching videos where they recommended to use the Cannabis Rex to take the EL84 tubes, and I honestly didn't hear much difference in those videos (I have Monitor Speakers) so before buying a VOX AC15, I decided to give this speaker a shot.OMG! After spending 15 minutes installing the speakers, I felt like heaven! No more harshness and now I absolutely adore the Overdrive/Distortion of my Amp. And it will only get better while my Speakers start to break-in.If you have a stage right and don't love the distortion, get this Speaker!

Not being happy with my stock speakers, I replaced the speakers in my Peavey Delta Blues 210 all tube amp with 2 x 10" Emminence Rajin Cajun speakers and my amp just came alive. The speakers sounds amazing. The bass is crisp and tight; the mids and highs are crisp and clear with a bell like tone. The sound is big and very musical. It's like i have a brand new amp with a new sound. I play rock and blues mainly and these speakers are great performers for those genres. Playing clean the sound is rich and bright with a little break up when pushed hard, and they sound smooth and dirty and break up nicely when adding an overdrive pedal to the mix or switching to the drive channel on the amp. I'm very impressed as well as happy with the Rajin Cajun speakers by Emminence. A great bang for the buck!

I decided to upgrade my Fender Frontman 25R, the stock speaker seemed OK for guitar, a bit muddy, but it wouldn't take the bridge pickup on my P Bass, distortion and vibration. The Internet received wisdom is a Rajin Cajun turns the 25R into a much better amp, so I ordered one, it comes from Amazon USA, so takes a while.in the meantime cruising Ebay I came across a Fender Pro Junior iii valve amp. I tracked it for a while, the price came down, I got interested. Finally I made a silly offer which was surprisingly accepted.I collected the Junior, what a fantastic sound valves make! But then the Rajin Cajin arrived for the Frontman, guess what happened next! I tried it in both. The change in the Frontman is dramatic, the definition! You can hear each note in a chord not at all blurry. Tried the P Bass, perfect! The Internet also says the Rajin Cajun is a good upgrade for the mk iii Junior. So I had no choice, I swapped the RC to the Junior, it IS very good, but not as dramatic as the change to the Frontman, the Junior stock speaker was quite reasonable to start with while the Frontman's, I now realise, wasn't.However the RC is staying in the Junior, it's just too good to take it out. Which sadly means I've had to order ANOTHER Rajin Cajun for the Frontman. What am I gonna do with two amps? Well I've a few guitar pedals that are stereo, I've a Mimiq Doubler which is supposed to sound like two guitarists playing the same notes. I didn't think much of it previously, on a single amp I couldn't really hear it, it was more a chorus effect. However with one valve amp and one solid state it DOES sound like two guitars. Hours of endless fun with the two amp Rajin Cajun set up.Doug

The packaging was horrible for this. My first one cake damaged but the replacement came less than a week later and was undamaged. This replaced my stock Fender speaker in my Super Champ XD and it sounds great. It’s significantly heavier. The magnet is HUGE so if you value the Super Champs portability then I’d hold off. Actually it’s super easy to replace so the worse case is you just don’t like it.It cuts through the drums like a knife and sounds great with a rich deep tone. At lower volumes it responds very much like the stock but it absolutely kicks above its price tag at higher ones. Don’t bother if your only doing bedroom performances.Edit: ok I was a bit quick to judge this one. I just swapped back to rest and sure enough this speaker is warmer and richer sounding at all volumes. Just needed to break in. The difference is very significant and I’m so happy I did it

I bought an Acoustic G20 amplifier two weekend ago at Guitar Center. The amp was ok and good distortion or overdrive depending of the setting. But after reading many reviews from customers who has changed the speaker inside of their amplifier for Eminence model, i decide to go with this speaker. For people who don't know much about impedance like me, after reading a lots about it, i found the answer i was looking for.The speaker inside the Acoustic G20 is a 6 ohms impedance. The Eminence Ragin Cajun is a 8 ohms impedance speaker. So, the answer is this. You can go with higher impedance than the one that comes with your amplifier. I my case, it was a 6 ohms going to 8 ohms.ATTENTION: But don't go with the opposite. Ex; Going from 8 ohms impedance speaker and replace it with a 6 ohms. What I read is that the amplifier will burn with the time.About the sound with the Eminence speaker.Wow...! What a difference! Before changing the speaker from my amplifier cabinet, my wife record the sound of my Gretsch guitar playing with the original speaker. Than, after changing the speaker and playing my amplifier with the Eminence speaker install, my wife said; Wow... no need to record to hear the difference. She is not a guitar player but she could say right away that the improvement was obvious. The harmonics are clean, there is more guitar sustain in your sound and the sound is 75% better. The amplifier volume is 50% greater.Yes, go for it you will love it!Thanks to Eminence for their excellent product!Good luck!

Love this speaker. Perfect match for my Carr Slant 6V. Replaced the original Kingpin speaker (which I believe is made by Eminence for Steve Carr) when it died. These are standard now in many Carr models (I also believe) and for good reason! Love the way it tames spiky highs and delivers a nuanced, mellow tone with subtle overtones. It will rock and bite when you need it without harshness which I love. I have paired it with a Cannabis Rex in an extension cabinet and it is a match made in heaven for me. Neither required any long break in period to sound wonderful. Tone is subjective as we all know, but for a great all around rock and blues (even jazz) sound I don't think you can go wrong. I USED to be a Celestion guy, but I think I am 100% sold on Eminence!

I've had these in my Garnet Revolution III for about two weeks now, which replaced some non-stock Yamaha woofers that someone had put in before I got it.The rev III is a fairly dark voiced amp and these speakers sound fantastic. The lows are beautiful, the mids are smooth and very articulate, and the highs finally sound like something, the highs I'm getting are clear and very sweet. The two eq knobs went from mud/noise to bass/treble which is always useful. This has always been my favorite amp because I loved it's specific albeit very limited tone, now I finally have options. These speakers got to my door incredibly fast, I ordered them on a sunday night and they were at my door wednesday before noon. I got a good laugh when I opened the box and noticed the hemp cones were green also. So thanks for that.

At first I was kinda disappointed, I replaced the stock speaker in an old Peavey Backstage Plus. It did wonders for the clean channel, it has a much stronger low end and clearer highs (It made the old speaker sound like it was a megaphone), and there's no breakup at all untill the (35 watt) head itself clips . But the distortion still sounded horrible. Then, after chalking it up as a "That's what I get for putting an $80 speaker in a $50 amp." I hooked it up Fender M-80 head and this thing screams! But, while it can scream, it really does have a nice smooth sound when the gain isn't dimed. It really brings out the best of a good amp, and even the cleans are good. At its volume range, it sounded better than the 4X12 that came with the Fender M80! Granted, a single 75 watt speaker in an open backed cabinet won't compete volume wise with a sealed 4X12, but it does sound alot bigger than the original speaker. I think if I found an empty 4X10 cabinet for dirt cheap, I'd load it with these and sell the 4X12! I think if you had a decent combo amp, it would really wake it up, but in my case, it made the cleans as clear as a bell, and much louder, but made the mid-80's solid state OD sound of the Peavey more obvious...
