I have used these successfully as shock mount bushings on a ford crown victoria. They work well and are pretty close to the size of the original bushings on the kyb gas a just shocks. Once they are torqued, they do squish to make them the same size as rubber bushings. Since they are firmer than the rubber, they make the shocks more effective. Little to no difference in harshness, stiffness or ride quality, only makes a difference in the shock effectiveness. They do not squeak without grease, but pick up some Energy Suspension 9.11104 Grease to make sure its long term silence.
