  • These are all silent switches: EPOMAKER Sea Salt Silent and EPOMAKER Nude Rosa. Other than them, linear switches are generally quieter than tactile switches.

  • EPOMAKER switches are suitable for all mechanical keyboards with 5-pin switch sockets. However, these switches are not suitable for optical keyboards such as our SK61 or GK75.

  • You may need to experiment a little with different types. For players with large hands, switches that are too light or short can lead to typing errors. Heavy switches, however, can be too tiring if you use them for a long time.

  • In general, switches are smoother and sound creamier after lubrication, especially linear switches. Factory-lubricated switches are lubricated with machine during the manufacturing process.

  • They have the exact same appearance and package. "Sea Slat" is linear switch with PC case and POM stem, while "Sea Slat Silent" is silent/quiet switch with nylon case and POM stem.

This is definitely not for everyone. It's a light switch, very smooth and very quiet. It is NOT mushy, but it may feel that way to some people because it doesn't hit hard - there's no clack at the end of the key press. It has a mechanism to reduce the sound. It's definitely different from membranes or the capacitive key switches and far less "mushy" than both. Either way, preferences are subjective. Listen to the sounds on the videos here to get some idea, but it's hard to discern what it feels like before you try it.

These switches are so lightweight and quiet. They've made a huge different to my keyboard, removing all of the clackiness of the standard linear switches that came with it.

Very easy to install, keys are now very quiet. They’re not completely silent but take away that clacky sound. You only get 35 in the box so enough to do your alphabet, space and a few other keys, so you may need two boxes if you want to do your entire keyboard. They really make a big difference.

Easy to install. Similar feel as red switches but maybe a bit quieter. Good value.

This set of "Nude Rosa" keyboard switches came well-packaged in a compact box. Each switch was well protected in its own little plastic divot with a plastic cover on top. The switches are extremely silent. This is a linear switch similar to a red that has no tactile bump - it is a smooth up and down motion during the keypress. If you prefer a more tactile feel to your typing, you may want a different kind of switch such as brown or blue depending on your tolerance for noise. Also, just be aware that these are 5 pin switches. My keyboard only accepts 3 pin switches so I had to cut the two plastic pins off to insert them. They worked great afterwards and completely transformed my keyboard into something much quieter.

The EPOMAKER Nude Rosa 39gf Silent Gaming Keyboard Switches are extremely quiet compared to the orange keyboard switches (Tactile, silent) I currently use. They feel a lot smoother and require fairly low amount of force to push down per keystroke.Packaging was also great, coming in a covered tray so every key is oriented correctly and doesn't shift around or get damaged. My only criticism is that the package only has 35 switches which is below even what a 60% keyboard typically needs so be aware that you will need at least 2 packages of switches if you are intending to fill a full keyboard.

So make sure your keyboard or kit is compatible before making your purchase or you may be sad. These are interesting switches for you linearly-minded types out there, though not too far removed from the 'standard' traits of red switches. In this case, it's clear that they're a fair bit quieter than normal reds, though this could easily just be because of the pre-oiled nature of the rose switches.Outside of a muddier sound due to the quietness of them, there's not much of a discernable difference that I could find between them and the reds. They are slightly lower force based solely on my tacticle perceptions of the switch. However, one place they do win quite well is they appear to be of quality and the price is quite competitive vis-a-vis switch prices for budget offerings. My primary experience with switches is blues, Kailh white box, reds, and well, these guys. I don't really find too much difference between linear switches, but these ones are definitely quieter than the 'standard' red is.In terms of installation, gotta say - that was really easy! I had to put the reds into this keyboard originally (Gameshark Ajazz) and that was kind of a pain in the rear, to be frank. I oriented (protip) the box of Rose switches from Epomaker such that they were in the correct orientation, and then popping them in was actually a super quick process. Definitely gives you a bit more of a factory pace if you make sure to do that first! But yea, the tactile feeling is a bit muddier than I'd like, but this is almost certainly because I'm a blues militant, I only use reds related to trying to keep my typing quiet during my working hours. I do miss the bump though. But, if you like reds, and you want a quiet keyboard, you can't really go wrong for considering this option. They're not bad switches, at any rate; they come pre-oiled, and while I will have to wait for time to tell, right now they don't seem like they're going to give up the ghost. But yea, if you don't like linear, low force switches... you're not gonna like these. If you do? Well, I think you might find yourself quite delighted.Though, I will be 100% frank, I'm not so sure what these give that's meaningfully different from Reds to warrant the unique branding/colour. I'm not so much a connesieur of keyboards that I know the ins and outs that may make this obvious. They're basically reds, for all intents and purposes though, as I'm concerned. But they're decent ones, so if you like linear, give 'em a go! They are quieter!========================== Overall View: [😀] ==== - 😦🙁😐😊😀 + ==========================Media Used: I would include a video, but... I don't really think I can capture the difference meaningfully. Basically, vs. standard reds, they're just a bit more mute, but I find that extends to the tactile feedback too.
