I've tried a lot of different wireless security cameras, but these eufyCam S220s are by far the best! I'm especially impressed with their performance in our harsh Canadian winters. Even in -30 degree weather, they still have 75% battery life after 3 months! The range is fantastic too - one of my cameras is quite far from the router, but it still maintains a strong connection. The wide-angle lens captures a great view, and the night vision is crystal clear. If you're looking for a reliable, wireless security camera that can handle anything, I highly recommend these!

These cameras are great, the quality of video and everything with the sounds is good. The issue is the battery drains so fast, we have to charge our camera every 3 weeks. And it’s said to last 4 months. We wished we would’ve gotten their solar cameras after we saw them at Costco. But we were past the return period. As well as we have it set to human only mode, but it lashes ALL MOTION notifications at night. Even though it says it won’t. Kinda weird.. despite all that. We love the cameras! They look great. They’re very discreet on our White House. Super easy to install. We just had to us our own screws because the one that came in the box were too short. Still compared to other brands, this has the best value with no monthly fees!

Love these cameras. They work great and the picture quality is fantastic. Added the solar panels so I never have to charge them. Easy to install and setup.

quick, easy setup (within 5 minutes) and response from off to live stream is much better than my old Arlo system.- video is clear, you have the option to use IR night vision (B&W) or spotlight on for color night vision.- once the internal storage reaches its limit, you can download each clip before the system overwrite starts deleting the oldest files. This is the best feature for me as local storage lets you avoid any monthly charges for cloud storage (you still have that option if you choose to). The fact that it saves it straight to my photos on iPhone without me having to click anything else is awesome! Will update if necessary as time goes on but really liking this so far. Nice work Eufy, this oldfart isnt so grumpy anymore ;)

Two Years of SufferingThe biggest problem with this camera system is that it randomly deletes video clips. I understand that some other cameras delete the oldest clips to save storage space, but this one deletes videos randomly—even footage recorded just a few minutes agoApparently, the system uses some kind of AI to decide whether recorded clips are false alarms or not (I will explain later why false alarms are so common), but the AI is extremely inaccurate. For example, when you are away from home, you might receive around 20 notifications on your phone app saying "motion detected," but only 5 of those events will actually be saved as videosWe once had a video showing a stranger parking in our driveway and opening his trunk, but there was no record of how he left. The AI also decides the length of each clip. It might record someone walking toward my front door, but the video will cut off after just 15 seconds, ending before the person even reaches the door. Yes, you can manually adjust the clip length in the settings, but out of the box, the default is optimized for battery life. You will need to dig through the settings and tweak them extensively to make the system work properly. Now, let’s talk about the hardware. The reason the motion sensor is so inaccurate is that it only detects heat to save battery. In other words, it won’t record anything unless it senses a change in heat. If the sensor stayed on like other brands, the battery would drain too quickly. For example, if you place the camera indoors, facing outside through a window, it will remain inactive. This is because the window glass blocks any heat changes happening outside, even if the target is just a few feet away. As a result, you must install the camera physically outside.Additionally, the battery life is nowhere near the 180 days they claim. Even with the most battery-friendly settings, you might get 100 days at best.Another major disappointment is the misleading "no monthly fee" advertisement. When I first bought the camera, the app mentioned that they were working on an update to allow external storage to connect via its USB port (it has only 16GB internal storage). Now, two years later, they’ve given up on that feature and removed the promise entirely. Instead, they want us to subscribe to a monthly plan. This is incredibly frustrating because the "no monthly fee" feature was the main reason I chose this brand over cheaper alternatives.

Great wireless security system, for the price. Everything you need is in the box. Easy to set up. Fantastic image quality. No monthly subscriptions needed. No memory cards needed - Cameras record to home-base. Easily download and save clips to your phone/computer. Battery doesn't last nearly as long as they say it will, but can be charged back to full, very quickly.

I bought these cameras due to someone stealing one of our Amazon packages and the property management not having any thing they could do regarding it with no cameras on the premises. These cameras provide excellent quality picture and are very easy to install and pair to the home base. The selling feature for me is that the home base stores the video footage, and you do not require to have a subscription like, for example the Arlo's. I had them installed within about 15 minutes including pairing and updating. The only downside for some is that you will have to charge the cameras every once in a while. However, that is not a problem in my case. Also, please note that these cameras can operate from the home base wirelessly and the home base does not have to be hardwired as some of the reviews suggests. I also live in a stacked townhouse on the third floor and these reach all the way down to my garage.

I recently purchased this Eufy camera system and overall I am quite satisfied with it. The system is easy to set up and the video quality is great. I particularly appreciate the motion detection feature which alerts me to any activity in the areas I have selected to monitor. However, I must mention that the battery life of the cameras has been somewhat disappointing. While the manufacturer promised a certain length of time for each charge, I have found that the batteries drain more quickly than expected, especially if the cameras are not in constant use.Additionally, while the system is good, it falls short of being excellent. There are a few minor issues that could be improved, such as the sensitivity of the motion detection.Overall, I would still recommend the Eufy camera system as it provides solid performance and good value for the price. However, if you are looking for a top-of-the-line camera system with long-lasting batteries, this may not be the best choice for you.

First 48 hour impressions: For a wireless, non-cvr camera, this thing is impressive. There’s only a slight delay when watching the camera and I mean very tiny delay. I pulled the stream up in HomeKit while my HomePod was playing and the audio echo was like that of a barely out of sync soundbar lol. The app itself seems to have better control over reviewing and saving clips and I don’t see a way to control the spot light without the app. The local storage and no fees is a game changer. I just bought these and 2 other eufy’s to replace my canary cameras.. that’s a low bar to raise but they’ve far exceeded just being an upgrade to those. I do wish it was cvr and had a weatherproof charging cable.. I’m going to plug them in because I’ve always kept my cameras plugged in.. it’s weird to me that people find it easier to take them down to charger instead? That bothers me but I’m picky. Camera quality for stream and recording are both great, ai detection is useful, there are plenty of custom settings to tweak, etc. Beware that HomeKit limits the cameras to 1080p but that’s an Apple problem not eufy.

I really wanted to like the product. I can live with the video quality, it seems Eufy compresses video so it's not amazing, but workable. The audio/mic overall is not impressive, but that's not the reason I bought it for. Installation and instructions were easy to follow. My goal was to have a cam pick up motion and record the action. This Eufy 2c Pro hardly picked up motion, human or not. There were times cats or people walking by got picked up. It was a great feeling to see and get a notification when the delivery/mailman dropped off items, but for the most part it was rare when it actually worked.I'd say it detected motion 2/9 times. What's even worse, I've tested both cameras at different hours of the day and at times No push notifications No video recordings. For an item like this and the price, not worth it. Basically it works less than half of the time, so if something happens or there's activity to capture, it probably isn't going to work.I have done all troubleshooting and followed all instructions in the forums. I have restarted the system, fully charged, set motion to MAX sensitivity, erased and formatted the device a few times. While this seemed to help, the issue eventually comes back within hours and you end up with cameras that don't react, not even when you stand in front of it and wave right back.I have experience with a different brand of camera that cost me 1/10th the price(not an exaggeration) and it works flawlessly. Of course, that cam is used for different purposes and I was enticed by the no cloud/no monthly fees with this Eufy one. I am tech savvy and while I had no issues with the set up, ultimately it's the product that fails.I'd give this a 1 out of 5 stars, but I want to make sure people know what they're getting with this product. A camera that doesn't deliver and far from a quality product. Buyer beware.

Cameras were brought as it is one of the few that has local storage. The camera has been in uses since Oct 2020 at first the cameras worked well but eventually it started to fail. Specially the motion detection.I had one camera indoor and the other outside. It is set to detect all motion as there are other activity that needs to be recorded outside of cars and humans. For the outside camera:* Motion detection stopped working after a period of time.* I have only gotten it to function for a short period after many adjustments of one or all of the following: - Changing sensitivity - sometime to max. - add, remove or modify Activity zone. - remove and re-add the camera. As for the inside camera it seems to have worked well with no issue.Eventually this was moved outside in a similar location as the 1st to act as a control. It too started to have motion detection problems. Some issues found with motion detection:* Worst case: with sensitivity at max but does not detect any motion. Confirmed that it was not detecting as neighbors in the back yard will not trigger camera and a 2nd camera (non eufy triggered).* Next to worst case, sensitivity at various level mid to max kept detecting rain - no other motion.* it will detect motion but recording only catches the mid to tail end of event.* Stops recording in before motion stops. The motion detection issue where it does not detect any motion has been reported to eufy. There is no fix and they blame their code needs to be improved and other variables. They offer an external motion detector to compensate for the camera's failure. This external detector can trigger the camera to record which does work; however it is not rated for outdoors and I could not find a dry place to place it and therefore it was useless.Other pro/cons of Eufy Cameras system:Cons:* Battery life drops when motion dection "fails".* Batteries need to be recharged. They do have solar now but I do not have this.* Local storage is only 16GB - should have more; USB feature is still vaporware.* When internet is down, then no access to camera or feeds even if you are on the local network.* No batch download for videos - you have to download one at a time.* 2c Pro does not come with a magnetic mount which would be easier to remove for recharging.* requires a home base which requires space and power. Also ethernet if you have it available.* No integration with smartthings or yonomi.Pros:* Wireless* Local Storage.* Very simple app.* nice integration with other eufy security devices. It would be nice if the camera can do continuous recording or timelapse snapshot but this will likely cause battery issues.Overall the image is very good but the motion detection is problematic for battery life, recordings or security.
